About the singularity and big bang. The prevailing theory is the M theory, an adaptation of string theory where 11 dimensions and infinite "universes" exist. If our universe was brought into existence by some component of this theory, that displays that time existed prior to our universe's creation, does it not? Therefore, if time existed prior to our universe, where did time start? If the answer is time is infinite, then I say God is infinite and therefore there is a correlation between the two, as what exists forever (I am not defending a fundamental perception of God from the Bible, but doesn't the Bible speak of an eternal being)? I say God (whatever form He takes, not to suggest that which is portrayed in the Bible). If time is NOT infinite, then where/how did IT start? It, too, must have come from somewhere, been created somehow.

The Trinity doctrine has got NOTHING to do with Jesus' earthly mother, Mary, whatsoever. Christian teaching about the Trinity is that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, are in triune fellowship within the Godhead. The Holy Spirit is not a woman! HE is not physical! Mary is not the mother of God! The Bible does not offer a shred of support to Islamic ideas that Christians are saying Mary is God's "wife". And JW arguments keep referring to Mary too, though in different ways, when denying the Trinity. Although this is Roman Catholic teaching, it has nothing to do with Trinity doctrine. Why do they keep doing it? Are they so desperate for ammunition they set up a straw man (or woman, in this case) which they can then knock down easily? Don't they understand what the Trinity teaches? I'd value Mulsim and JW explanations, please, but if anyone else can explain this, feel free!

Many Organizations who help the poor and needy would also diminish?

For instance the Red Cross, Salvation Army, Operation Blessing, St Jude, VOM are major christian organizations that come to the need of people on a global basis.

If most people come to the need of other's they are doing it because it is the right thing to do commanded by GOD, even when some people are un-deserving of help, so in your opinion would people be so inclined to help other's if no deity was involved?

Jesus spoke aramaic, and God in aramaic is Allaha. In Gethsemane Jesus put his face in the ground and prayed to Allah.

In the Old Testament Abraham washed his arms etc.and then prostrated his face to the ground. To me it seems clear who are the followers of the Prophets

I am just repeating the same question taken from The New Indian Express, Chennai Edition dated 18th May 2007 in Page 11.

It is rather unfortunate that Tamilnadu people don't give any proper respect to the Original Swamiji's!!! (They are the living God!!!) India & Indians are heading towards a calamity like situation wherein destruction of India by God is sure very soon. India and the Indians will suffer due to no respect to Brahmins. Mantras/Meditation are more powerful than king of kings.

I think if people actually read the bible they wouldn't think god was very forgiving, loving or accepting. I just think a lot of people quote parts of the bible, but never actually read the whole thing, and that is very important.

When a skeptic asks you to perform a miracle by faith, like Jesus said you can and will, your typical response is the claim that you should not test God.

We consider this a cop-out because Moses took the miracle challenge with the pharoh's sorcerers by throwing down his staff and turning it into a serpent. Wow! What an amazing miracle!

Why do we not see miracles like this anymore when an opportunity is presented?

Even if it is not a challenge or a test, in situations where a miracle would be greatly beneficial, we still do not see these miracles.

The only things we see are trickery, which even then are subpar to the "magic" displayed by people such as David Blane and Criss Angel.

Please explain why none of you are performing miracles. No cop-outs please.

My colleague is Christian like me but attends a more fundamentalist sect. She believes you cannot be same-sex oriented and be a Christian. You will be "cured" of your homosexual orientation once you accept Jesus.

So anyway, there is this gay man we both know. Lovely person by the way and I asked her during a social outing, if he were to join her church and say that he was now straight would she marry him (She's single & looking). She said, "Hell NO!"
I asked her why and she said she would not be comfortable doing it because she would always be worried about him.

Isn't that being hyprocritical? Be honest! Why wouldn't you want someone who says they were gay to marry YOU or your son or daughter?

If you truly believe Jesus can change them (and that sexual orientation is a just choice), why doso many still have gut reservations?

I mean- apart from any HIV fears (which affects MORE straight people (particularly black women) than gay people)

Your comments?

I hear a lot about, "How can there be a God when such cruel things happen on this world. How can anyone worship a vindictive God?" So I have an analogy. If a "good" person is thrown from the top of the Empire State building by "bad" people and they plummet to their death, is it God's fault for not changing the rules of nature and physics to save that person? How offended do we get when we are asked or expected to change ourselves to accomodate for the actions of others, especially when those actions do not coincide with our own perception of how the world should be? If God DOES exist, why would He be any different?

I see great evidence to support both evolution AND intelligent design. Only a closed minded fool can ingnore the evidence for EITHER one. Though I don't completely support either one, I am also not foolish enough to say that one is fact and one is not. For instance name just one transitional form found that has been scientifically proven to be a transitional form, and I am not referring to anything on the micro-evolutionary level because intelligent design supports this due to the scientific proof that supports it. Each time one is found, it has been proven by science to be a forgery, the reptillian bird of 1999 found by a chineese farmer for example was merely a bird's head that this farmer fused to some body parts of a reptile. Darwin said that within 100 years if not one single transitional form was found out of the billions of fossils in the earth, then his whole theory should be scrapped and man should start over. Where are they? Supply a link on here if you know of one.

Many other prophecies, facts and predictions like many a group or cults adhere to.

For instance Scientology who states Psychiatry is a sham or
Al Gore who states Global Warming is caused by CO2
emissions and man which are destroying the planet, Or Scientists who say the energy increase from the Black Hole is causing Global Warming OR the latest book success *The Secret* which tells people how to become successful

Are atheists open to everything just not the Bible..Don't you think you can be led astray by man's own selfish ambitions?

For 2000 years Christians persecuted and killed atheists, only in recent history has Atheism been a safe philosophy to have.

Now many Atheist scholars are recommending that Atheists actively engage and attack organized religion, especially Christianity, is this a good idea?
