Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

Proof.....humans do many things and believe in many things for which they have no proof. I do not know why you long for proof so much. Logic? Sensible logic once told us that slavery was 'OK' and women shouldn't vote. Sensible logic also told us that smoking in the cabin of a plane during a flight was alright. Logic changes with knowledge and is not reliable. Why would you want to trust in something that is not reliable and changes with the times/culture?

Of course there is a huge amount of sensible logic involved. As far as "proof", don't confuse religion with science. Spiritual matters are not decided upon empirical evidence.

Is it logical to believe that we are here typing messages back and forth to each other purely by chance? That life itself is merely an accident? That there is no purpose for mankind higher than to procreate the species so future generations can live meaningless lives? Nope. The alternative, however, makes quite a bit of logical sense to me.

There is sufficient and sensible logic in almost all religions despite individual differences. But the way you have asked the question suggests that your mindset belongs essentially to the realm of physical science, and you will continue to suffer from a lack of clarity, a lack of faith and a lack of meaning in life for long, may be for ever.

Yes, Jesus did go to the cross in order that those who trust in him and especially in his Father might have everlasting life. As expect you remember in the Old Testament, the way to recognise that a person had sinned and was sorry before God for that sin they had to bring an offering of an animal. This animal was killed and the person would see it's lifeblood going because of him. But this just became a ritual, people sinned and sinned and offered and offered. As Jesus says in the parable "They will surely respect my son." Jesus died as a once and for all sacrifice so that the sins of believers could be blotted out. It is what is in our heart that is important, if we don't want to turn our backs on God and purposely sin then there is repentance and forgiveness. But we do need to be baptised as Jesus was, not sprinkling. It is the likeness we are told of dying to our old way of life, just as Jesus died and was raised to immortality. We go down into the water and would die if we stayed that way.We are still mortal but a new page is turned in our lives. We turn God-ward. We are told that there is none righteous in God's eyes except Jesus who is at the right hand of his Father in Heaven. We await the return of Jesus as the Scriptures tell us. All Jesus did was prophesied in the Old Testament. I do hope this helps.

The proof lies within you. As a believer in Christ and what he has accomplished here on earth I have to believe his word and what he laid out for us. Faith and Hope are crucial really to any religious beliefs. You have a soul and a spirit, there is more to you than what you see in the mirror and what we see. We have a purpose for being here and we have a place that we aspire to go after we leave this earth which is heaven. The bible itself says do not based things from your own understanding because we lack understanding on most things (we think we know more than what we do) That's where the faith comes in and if you can't find faith then be Hopeful. Start there with Hope and it will lead you to the truth.

Proof? Probably no.

Logic, maybe yes. Buddhism for one. Although that is more of a philosophy than a 'religion'.

Do you know where the wind comes from? Do you know why the sun hangs in the sky? (Where does gravity come from?) Do you know why there is good and evil? Why good things only have positive results and bad things only have destructive results? Why do people swear with the names God or Jesus? Why is it that people are able to break the spell of addiction, greed, hate, idolotry, adultery, jealousy, etc just by praying to an secret and powerful force? Why would someone leave their perfectly good home, job, or life to travel across the world to help someone else? Why would ONE book be traslated, available, read, studied, and argued over for thousands of years?

There are answers all around you. You just have to start asking the right kinds of questions.

Buddhism explicitly teaches if it isn't logical to you then don't believe in it.
