Jesus spoke aramaic, and God in aramaic is Allaha. In Gethsemane Jesus put his face in the ground and prayed to Allah.

In the Old Testament Abraham washed his arms etc.and then prostrated his face to the ground. To me it seems clear who are the followers of the Prophets

I understand that 'Allah' is Arabic. If what you say is true, and that Aramaic just adds an 'a' at the end, then there's no problem with the idea that Jesus prayed to God whilst on earth. He came to earth as the prophet greater than Moses (Hebrews 3:1-6). There's no problem with the idea of Jesus having a prophetic ministry when on earth. Well, that's not entirely true, from a Muslim point of view.

I understand Muslims believe Jesus was just one of many human prophets, but that the greatest prophet, and the final one, was their prophet, not Jesus. However, when Jesus was on earth, he was accused of blasphemy for claiming to be greater than Abraham; he dared to take upon himself the title of God, I AM (Exodus 3:14 John 8:48-59). The Greek language used was not past tense ('I was') but an expression of eternity of being and oneness with the Father. For this reason, Jesus could never be viewed as merely one of many prophets and certainly not as a supporter of Islam. I believe the Qur'an claims that Jesus was a Muslim (Surah 61:6). The Bible does not support this idea. Christ was both prophet and priest but in his exalted state he alone is the Mediator between God and men, and the Great High Priest who alone atones for our sins. (Hebrews 9:11-10:31) There's a lot more to Jesus than what you suggest.

This is very interesting, except there are some very major problems with what you are saying. For one thing, Jesus was a Hebrew, i.e., Jewish, and for Jesus to pray to "Allah" (simply the Arabic word for "God") then Jesus would have had to live for another 600-700 years because Islam didn't exist until six or seven centuries after the life of Jesus. You need to read a lot more history books, or you will look like you don't know what you are talking about. If you truly wish to honor Allah, I suggest you become a scholar - not a martyr. I pray for that day when Arabia is the land of scholars again - and not martyrs.

It is quite sad to think all the followers of these religions believe in God/Allah. Yet they disagree with each other.

Jesus (upon him peace) was called king of the Jews(Mathew 23.38), Why? If was living differently then he would've called something else. He was living like a Jew, so this confirms what came before. It was Paul who changed Christianity to what it is today, after the forcing of the trinity onto the people by the roman emperor Constantine.

Jesus (upon him peace) spoke in Aramaic and he "Peace be onto you." Mathew 24.36. Peace means salam in Arabic and to you means alikum. So what was he saying? Salam alikum, the Muslim greeting the same greeting that Adam (upon him peace) gave then angels.

The source is the same but people have changed the direction, its time to put this back together.

Suzanne, Allah is considered by Muslims to be the very same god of the old and new testaments. But yes, "allah" has the same phonetic root as Eloi, the ancient hebrew word. They are all semetic people and have the same roots.

Islam says Allah has no son. Therefore they cannot be the same God. John 13:10 "I and My Father are one". John 1... In the beginning was the Word, And the Word was with God, and the Word was God....14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God... Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is Antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.John 2:22 Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before the angels of God. But he who denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God. Luke 12:4 John 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but He who does not believe is condemned already, because He has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Gee, I wonder why Christ never mentioned
your Mohammad, not even one time.
And don't tell me that its just that certain
Biblical books were left out; I study and teach from the original manuscripts, and I know all of them quite well. I also know all three languages fluently.
Go to Iran and live a healthy muslim life.
Jesus Christ is the King of this land. If you don't like it, fine, go sail your Muslim ship
straight to hell if thats what you want to do.
Bon Voyage, Captain.

He prayed to the allah of the arabic christians, not the a*lah of muslims. They have the same name but are obviously different beings, since any muslim will tell you their a*lah can't do things the almightly allah of christians can, i.e. have a son, put his spirit in a human body and allow that body to be killed to name just two.
