intentionally mistranslated sections of those books in their published versions, even though the originals still exist without the creative translating, and then wrote new books where they made it look like the 'prophecies' in the old books had come true in the 'new' books, and then published the two books together, wouldn't that just make your bullshit meter hit the roof?!?

I've made myself a quiet rose garden, and am putting in chairs and a table. I'm looking for inspiration to make something or find something that is spiritaully attuned, not religious. I'm thinking of a meditation corner, and haven't done a lot of meditating. Please help.

Can you imagine the same response given in religion to scientific questions? How can you have a logical rational conversation with someone that ends with.
Because God can do anything.
Ex. I can fly. No you can't. I can do anything. Its impossible. Ahhh maybe for a normal because but I can fly. Why can YOU fly? Because...I can do anything. Prove it to me. It is not meant for you to understand.
Or can we even look at religion objectively? Don't we have a vested interest to make sure its vague and impossible to disprove? If we were to do a scientific experiment where you had to try to understand a problem with the same set of parameters would it be possible to be fair? one outcome would cause you to be tortured for eternity OR the other option would cause you to have bliss for eternity. Could you really say that you were unbiased in your investigation? oh and before the christians answer. the bible is not proof. We DON"T believe in the bible.

i really don't have one, i never feel remose for what i do. yes i try not to do things by saying i'll feel bad if i do it but after all is said and done i don't. actually it feels to me like an accomplishment. its like "i did something evil, and it was fun, lets do it again!" i dont' knoe why i just do. actually my religion teacher called me the "anti-christ" bc i told her i wan't sorry for anyone of the sins i confessed in confessions. needless to say she wasn't happy. but yeah i just want to know do you have a conscience?
