Chuck Norris states:

"Though the U.S. Constitution outlaws religious discrimination, these organizations and individuals would love nothing more than to help society look with distain upon Christianity and, ultimately, make its components illegal. In fact, right now, they are coalescing and rallying at least 5 million of their troops to mount counter offensives to Christianity.

For that reason I believe theistic patriots need to be wise to atheists' overt and covert schemes, exposing their agenda and fighting to lay waste to their plans. For these liberal groups to win the war of ideological dominance, they know they must minimize the effects of Christianity, which many are doing (unbeknownst to others) behind the scenes through lobbying and legislation."

When did we get troops?

I keep missing meetings too. Last time they took away my membership card. Now, I just got a letter telling my job is to follow after the cavalry and shovel up the horse poo.

Ah... This once bright and shining star is now relegated to the poo patrol. How the proud have fallen.

I disagree about theistic patriots. Patroitism is not good or godly. It divides us with artificial lines and makes people do dumb things.

Most people blame religion for almost every war ever done, yet fail to realise that patriotism has caused more deaths by far. Patriotism is against God (in most cases), so i disagree with Norris about the tie between the two.

Other than that i can only tell old man Norris that it's written we christians will be defeated many times before the last days.

It does seem that things that are connected to Christianity have come under fire quite often. There are aspects of my faith that tend to make it politically incorrect. However, I'm not a politician.
When I'm arrested for teaching the Word of God, I will rejoice!
Really what I don't understand is, non-believers want me to leave them alone and let them do their own thing, which I will. Not that I won't talk with anyone about the Lord, but I'm not going to try to shove it down their throat, either.
The thing is though, why can't I receive the same consideration? If the thing that's wanted is "live and let live", why are there all these degrading questions and comments about how I choose to live my life?

It's similar to when a candidate for office says to his staffer, "Well! I guess we better go rally the troops." He means the supporters of the anti-Christian causes and groups. Are you telling me that you admit everything else he says, but are just wondering about the troops?

Troops? Well, it turns out you can find an atheist in a foxhole. Thank you Chuck, for pointing that out.

Of course, there are people who would seek to mobilize us to use our votes, much as the Christian right is now used.

I can't speak for other Christians, but I'm just a single noid.

And I think he meant "troops" in a figurative, not a literal, sense.

Ok, I don't know about the troops thing....but it's true that many liberal groups want to get rid of the effects of Christianity.
