and what they have made of his ideas?

Disclaimer: I am an atheist and have no particular reason to believe anyone can ever come back from the dead (and indeed am still not sure about the whole Jesus thing), nor is this question an endorsement of belief. I'm just wondering.

He is very pleased with his followers which is the whole reason for him coming back. The 2nd coming is to retrieve his followers who are left here on earth and the ones who have died already. Then the world will be turned over to the Anti-Christ and those unbelievers will be turned over to a reprobate mind and their lusts for the world will consume them. Then the great Judgement day! To which EVERYONE will be Judged, including the Atheists. Don't say we did not try to warn you. I have tried and will continue. Don't discount the wonderful things Jesus has done because people have misrepresented him. Never focus on what people do when it comes to the Lord, people will always fail you whether christina or atheist because we are faulty creatures. Focus on Jesus, he will never fail you even though it may look as though he is...He always have our best interest in mind. We don't know what our best interest is because we have major blind spots that only a Holy God can see and correct. Sometimes correction doesn't feel good or look good for that matter. That is how the Lord operate. He is not interested in our comfort, he is interested in our Character and if we will make good citizens in Heaven.

Some yes, and some no. In the West, probably fewer folks to be pleased with than where there is persecution. People living a Godly life in a place where they are hated weeds out the 'lukewarm', in my opinion. Where being a Christian is easy, the end result is a slacker.

Jesus wont come back again to gather a group of followers with the mission of converting people and announcing the gospel to humanity. That has been done partially in last 2000 years. When he comes back he will come in glory to judge the living and the dead including believers and non-believers.

He would probably be pleased with some followers and some behaviors and displeased with others.

That's where grace comes in. We can't earn salvation.

But I get where you're coming from. A lot of horrific things have been done in the name of my religion and I have no doubt that God was more than a little displeased about it.

But I believe in God's mercy and justice, not people's.

He would be pleased with some of us, but not all of us. I just hope He would be pleased with me.

This is actually a very interesting question. I believe that Christians should be seen, more than heard. In other words, our lives should exemplify Christ. It's a shame that many of us do NOT exemplify Christ the way we should.

Disclaimer: I am a Christian, I do believe Jesus rose from the dead, and I do believe He'll return eventually.

I think he would be pissed with the way people have misrepresented christianity and turned it into a house rules for there own pleasure. The people on tv, the politicians, the cranky old church ladies. I find people turned off of christianity every day because of the church not welcoming their curiosity.

I think he would be greatly disappointed in what they have done to his message. I think he would be down right disgusted with other parts of it. And IF they are right about the whole t hing, I am going to laugh my @#$ off when he tell them so.
HE didn't write the bible, I don't care what anyone says. He gave a message and they massacred it.

No, he would be very angry at all of us for not following his laws and teachings. We have diluted and many big time preachers have used it for their own purposes and used his name to gain fame. That is outrageous and when he comes back, there will be some smiting to be done.

He already is because they are the ones who became disciples of the Spirit of truth just like He was. They understand that the god of Moses was satan and not HIs Father.
