I know that Adam and Eve were the first people created and people say we are decended from them but from then to the time of Noah the population grew and according to the bible God saw that they were not good and created the flood and killed off every except for Noah and his wife and their 3 boys and their wives, and they repopulated the earth so would'nt we have decended from them?

My boyfriend and I are discussing marriage. He is Catholic. I was raised anti-religion...but I now consider myself a spiritual person (but not a member of anything).

He is fine about me not being Catholic. He'd like me to go to mass with him. He'd like our future children to be raised Catholic. I'm fine with this in principle, but I'm afraid of the hypocrisy: Won't the congregation members gossip about the situation? Won't the Sunday school kids tell my children that their mom is going to hell?

If you're in this situation, are your kids confused about what is the truth? Are they affected by what the other people say?

I appreciate your answers.

wow what a response? first off im actually jewish, so there, and my oh my you all certainly know a lot about pagans, i thought you did'nt believe in GOD if not why do you all seem so obsessed with the devil, and your pagan cultures? and yes i do know quite a bit of history i know the 25th isnt jesus's birthday, i dont dislike atheists at all dont get me wrong, im just curious about there beliefs so you all need to calm down, wow! i believe we can believe what we want but can we just keep it to our selfs "just a little' when someone you love dies, it must be hard for you to just think they lie in the ground getting eaten by worms, it makes me feel comfortable knowing my loved ones are in another dimension, there's to much proof, einstein said it best we are all made of energy and energy changes form but it never dies!

Say, a quarter of the christian smokers that ever lived since tobacco use became common?

Don't bother telling me the Old Testament says "don't do this or that" unless it mentions something specific about smoking plants. Worth 10 points though if you can find a specific warning on smoking.

besides the fact that the government say that you have to my question is why, don't you realize that you are preforming in some sort of religion from chirstian to muslim so even if you don't believe in a GOD when you get married you are stil commiting a oath under god

in the Gospels. Everyone else was fighting the Roman occupation, but Jesus attacks only the Jews.

Not a single word against the occupation, taxes, Caesar, the Roman military, conscription, the Temple sacrifices being halted, etc, etc.

Kind of makes you wonder how many rewrites there were before the versions we have were released.
