No, it isn't. And that's exactly why the Catholic Church gets so uh guff - because we retain the mystical, just as the early Christians did.

Yes, it's a challenge to keep one's faith, but that's the reward in it. The reward in believing is knowing that a spot is reserved specifically for you in Heaven. There are days when we all have our doubts about what's true and what isn't. But that is what makes our lives more joyful when good things come our way. And if we believe and give thanks, more good things will come. It's all a cycle.

No - I think people should have their beliefs and their faith challenged, and if they can withstand the blows that people might throw at them, and if they can answer the really hard questions and feel satisfied with that, then they should give 100% of themselves.

And believing the impossible is silly. If it's impossible, it couldn't have happened, therefore it didn't.

God is moreso into relationship than religion. He wants us to be available to Him. I'd rather giveup "my will" to be obedient to "His Will". Let's see....worth it? Heaven or Hell is the choice of what type of payment you choose.

I don't think anything should have to be given up for spirituality, except for negativity and self-distructive behavior.
You should never have to give yourself up, you should just gain love.
