Since there were a lot of Jewish people around Jesus. Didn't someone write something, not to prove or disprove but to say what they saw?

That his dream of an American theocracy will die with him?

Terrorists and terrorism can exist anywhere, but not nessarily terror cells. The concept requires a nurturing environment (Islam).

Eliminating the top brass of the IRA cuts the head off the beast, but what did the elimination of Islamist Zaraqawi achieve in Iraq? Islamist activity continued without a hitch.

The reason why terror cells have almost infinite growth and regenerative ability only within the Islamic community is based on the cultural beliefs of the community.

First, Islamic scripture creates a foundation of morality that looks upon murder and killing in a fundamentally different way. Murder has many more moral justifcations in the Islamic community, especially with respect to non-muslims.

Furthermore, the Quranic command to "never speak bad of a fellow Muslim" is more slavishly observed than the infamous hood-code of "never ratting to the cops".

Literalism in Islam is mainstream, that is, almost every Muslim is a fundamentalist believeing in the unquestioned perfection and divinty of the Quran. The Quran is littered with hundreds of textual commandements to murder the unbeliever.

Even among Muslims who are too lazy for Jihad, you still have believers who will support the cause.

Naturally, this protective and supportive behavior, with respect to Islamic terror, is not something english speaking Muslims will openly confess to kafirs (non-muslims) but one this clear...that while terrorists can evolve anywhere, only a culture like Islam can make it possible to have living and regenerating terror cells.

We do not deserve anything from Him.

I can tell you and so could countless millions of people that the forgiveness of Almighty God is the most amazing benefit that can be imagined.

Man's greatest need - is for forgiveness.

I mean,I don't want to legislate their lives or anything, but if schools are going to serve pizza and burgers and stuff like that for lunch, what about the rights of Christian parents who want their kids to eat asparagus not Cheetos? And shouldn't this all be a Big Time Red Hot Media thing where we get barraged with tv newmagazines going on about it? And what about the atheists? Maybe that junk food is the problem, has been all along, you know affecting their minds and so on? How much of that stuff do they eat anyway? And what does this do for protocol,I mean what if Bush had one to the White House to dinner,I mean what do you serve, hot dogs and Cokes? And what about the antireligious significance, huh? Let's not forget that. Is junk food for an atheist like kosher cookin' for a Jew? Would it be rude to offer one a carrot salad? What would happen if they ate it? Would they be punished by NoGodAnywhere?

Seriously! If you don't believe in God or Jesus or the Bible (or even the Book of Mormon) then why come onto this section? Shouldn't you be in the Philosophy section instead?

I see a lot of Thiests post this question a lot, as if we don't have vested interests in the realm of religion and spirituality. As for me I come here because I consider myself a spiritual person. I don't think that I should have to believe in any kind of god/goddess to be able to post here, or to consider myself spiritual. On top of that, I think that this country is still too heavily influenced by Christian biases, such as gay people not being allowed to LEGALLY be married, or making tax payers pay for religion classes in PUBLIC schools, etc. So, why are you here, a perfect chance to defend yourself.

In the Book of Mormon and other scriptures, it says you can see God if you have enough faith in Him and pray sincerely to find him.

Look at Joseph Smith! He was only 14 and he saw God!! All because instead of claiming to "know" God didn't exist, he prayed in faith to find Him!

If people really did evolve from monkeys, then why didn't all monkeys evolve into people? If Natural Selection (survival of fittest) is true, shouldn't all monkeys be extinct or evolved into humans?

If evolution is true, why are there still monkeys?

Wow, I'm amazed no one's ever thought of this before!!

Puts things into perspective, doesn't it?

I wish I was as moral as atheists.
as a christian I am always sinning and needing forgiving.
We should all try to be like Markyyy.
He doesn't need a book to make him moral.
I wish all you fellow christians would apologize to Markyyy for being mean to him!

I check this place everyday, ususaly. I like helping people out in their needs when they are confused about their religion or what relgion to believe in and all of that. I see others do too.

Here's what I don't like, people bickering back and forth about God. This comes from a Christian perspective of course since I am a Christian. But Christians, stop trying to prove that our God is real! We know that he is to us but beating it down in someone's face won't help.

Atheist- stop trying to disprove God. There is no way in the entire world that you can do so it is impossible. Now this does not happen all the time but in a lot of post it does.

The reason none of us will never be able to do one or the other is because of FAITH. We live by faith. If we knew God existed there would be no reason to have faith because we would ALREADY KNOW.

So how about we only try to truly help people on here that need help instead of fighting amongst ourseleves leading others away.

I have been atheist for about half a year now, and I'm really tired of the predudice. My parents are perfectly fine with my non-beliefs (they are of shinto religion), but my friends (my town is mostly Christian) have turned their backs on me. I'd really like some insight on why its so bad to have your own opinion on things. Especially the topic of God.
