We do not deserve anything from Him.

I can tell you and so could countless millions of people that the forgiveness of Almighty God is the most amazing benefit that can be imagined.

Man's greatest need - is for forgiveness.

It is not just that we don't deserve being forgiven. It was not even an afterthought of God but the whole reason the whole universe was even created! For in the fullness of time Christ would come to become the savior of the World. God bound all men over to sin, this was his plan from the ages and God's wisdom is always perfect. That he created a man gave him free will, and knowing when he put him in a perfect world a perfect place being a perfect man would sin and grace would be the effect before man was created and was the overflow of grace afterwards for in this story of God - is the glory by which Christ is awarded and given that he the Only Begotten Son is worthy of having, and this was the reason we were saved by grace and filled with His fullness that we may be producers of a glory for Christ - This the Father did for the Son because He loved Him, because the Son is exact representation of God,He is the LOVE that we know, He came from the Father full of grace and truth. WHY - because Christ loved the Father to the point of animonity that is He muted himself out of His great love for the Father and so when He brings in the Firstborn he commands all the angels to worship, both heavenly and earthly that all may honor the Son as they honor the Father who sent Him.

Praise God for His mercy. Praise God for His infinite grace that we have been made partakers of His divine glory and power and honor and strength to show forth how much God loves His Son by what we do in His Name for His express witness of the LOVE of the Father for His Son.

Since Jesus paid the price for all sin for all people for all time!!!
God is not mad at anyone and isn't looking to withhold love or blessing.
"He is not willing that ANY should perish" so therefore, it is HIS good pleasure to forgive those who are asking for it in sincerity.
We make ourselves eligible to receive His forgiveness when we are sorry and turn FROM the sin/behavior/etc., ASK Him to forgive us and have forgiven others who have ask us for it.
God desires that we all be in right-standing with Him and in "fellowship".
Why wouldn't He? HE LOVES US!!!
He just has His boundaries and principles and He doesn't change those for anyone..., we have to work within the system He set up for the blessing to flow! Piece of cake!!

Because His precious Son died for our sins, that we might spend eternity with Him. Like a good father, He loves each of us and wants the best for us. Granted, we don't deserve His forgiveness, and that is why its called amazing grace.

Because that is His loving nature. He has promised those who are completely loyal to Him alone and that all other loyalty to others is under His loyalty then whatever sins you may have as long as you truly repent then you will be forgiven and you will live in eternal bliss. He said Himself (Glory be to Him)-
"O My Servants who have wronged themselves, don't despair of the Mercy of God for indeed, He forgives all sins. It is definitely Him who is the Most-Forgiving and Merciful. "(Qur'an 39:53)

God Bless

I can't see any reason why He would. We are the most ungrateful, disobedient wretches. Just looking at the posts here in Y!S makes me wonder why He bothered. I am so glad He did, though!!!!- From me, just a sinner saved by grace

A M E N!
I saw this question and didnt even realize you are the one who asked it, and right when I saw it I said to myself "Exacltly!"
We do not deserve the forgiveness of God, yet He loves us that much, that He is willing to forgive us, when we confess and repent of sin and put our faith in Jesus Christ!

Yes, we are not deserving, but only because He LOVES us do we have forgiveness, IF we ask for it.

in all counts, he shouldnt even bother with us for we are so unworthy of anything from Him.... but thru his amazing Love, he sent Jesus to be our atoning sacrifice... and thru that blood, all our transgressions are forgiven.... still, the very thought of the pain i caused Him takes my breath away... I am forever grateful for that Gift of Grace.

He serves us forgiveness because without knowing it, we wouldn't do the same for others. That is what being made in his image means.

He shouldn't. That is the miracle of His grace. He loved us enough to suffer so that we could be forgiven. We are undeserving, and that is a humbling realization.
