Honor thy mother and thy father? People like me being physically ,mentally, sexually and emotionally abused by their parents? how can you honor them?
if you don't God will be against you so you will have ur parents against you and god. You can't honor someone who abuses you. Is it my fault i'm like this?

Can you explain why,( if those 7 books Luther removed were not inspired,) do so many New Testament passages support them?
Heb 11:35 - Paul teaches about the martyrdom of the mother and her sons described in 2 Macc. 7:1-42.

Heb. 12:12 - the description "drooping hands" and "weak knees" comes from Sirach 25:23.

Mark 9:48 - description of hell where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched references Judith 16:17.

Matt. 11:25 - Jesus' description "Lord of heaven and earth" is the same as Tobit 7:18 - Lord of heaven and earth.

Matt. 2:16 - Herod's decree of slaying innocent children was prophesied in Wis. 11:7 - slaying the holy innocents.

Matt. 9:36 - the people were "like sheep without a shepherd" is same as Judith 11:19 - sheep without a shepherd.

Luke 2:29 - Simeon's declaration that he is ready to die after seeing the Child Jesus follows Tobit 11:9.

Why bother creating me just to send me to the Lake that Burns with Fire and Brimstone?

Why create two-thirds of humanity when he knows they're going to worship other gods and thus end up tossed into the Lake?

Are unbelievers being made just to be the fireworks display on Judgment Day?

Seriously. What was the point? Why not put it just outside the Garden where Adam and Eve couldn't go? Or better yet, if it was so dangerous, why did God bother putting it on Earth at all?

Also, why did God bother with it when he would have known ahead of time that Adam and Eve would eat from it?

After all - she's made from a man's rib. She needs a man to tell her what to do. She was allegedly "punished" (for the whole stupid apple thing) with mensruation and child bearing. She must submit to her husband. She has few rights and is a piece of property...I mean - doesn't that, to you, sound more like a man with a small penis worried that a man with a bigger penis might get more women? So they had to put things in place that made women property so hotter, younger men wouldn't steal young chicks from ugly old guys?

Recently, she said that, as an observant Orthodox Jew, homosexuality is an abomination according to Leviticus 18:22 and cannot be condoned under any circumstance. The following is an open letter to Dr. Laura penned by a east coast resident, which was posted on the Internet. It's funny, as well as informative:

Dear Dr. Laura:

Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's Law. I have learned a great deal from your show, and try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind them that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination. End of debate. I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some of the other specific laws and how to follow them:

When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord - Lev.1:9. The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?

I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness - Lev.15:19- 24. The problem is, how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.

Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?

I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?

I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev. 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? - Lev.24:10-16. Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)

The various alleged "missing links"? No, because if one does not first accept the Theory of Evolution, there is no compelling (although one might argue there is good) reason to accept them as transitional forms.

So there you are, up in Heaven with God, a "perfect angel" as God made you.

You're happy, 'cause you're with God and God loves you and you love God. You're doing the things God wants you to do and making God happy with you.

And all the other angels are doing the same.

And then one day, you decide "to hell with that" and you're going to be the big God yourself.

Huh???

Did Satan get a lobotomy?

He's going to -rebel- against the God he -knows- has the power to create a universe???

In God's perfect universe, with His perfect Heaven and His perfect love for His perfect angels, an angel gets an evil thought?

And it is an insane thought to think anything created by God could replace God.

How could an angel created to be perfect by God ever have such a thought?

I never see jewish atheists who complain as much about judaism.

and Ive certainly seen a few used to be muslims but their numbers are so small compared to the atheists coming from Christian backgrounds I had to ask.

Somebody can go to Jail for having 4 wives but nothing will happen if he has 1 wife and 3 girlfriends.

At least a polygamist will take responsibility for the children produced through marriage of multiple wives.

While adultery/fornication is rampant and there is no real enforcement between "consenting adults".

God allowed polygamy to all the people before us.

Man-made laws prohibit it.

ok we know people and places in the bible existed...but does that mean it's all true? I think not..just cause you associate some event with a real place doesn't mean it really happened. Have we found Moses's bones or something and I'm just not aware?
