You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,
If the parents hated the Lord what happens to the children?

LOL maybe they should get therapy. I notice on here atheists always get angry when someone tells them the sad truth (Dawkins worship) LOL at least we admit that we worship God.

I'm telling Dawkins his followers are ashamed of him.

Do atheists or does atheism scare you in any way? A fairly recent study showed that we are the least trusted minority in America. What is it about us that is threatening to you?

yet continues to go there. Okay, maybe she's not ready for a full conversion, but at the very least she should know that church is a scam. she's an older lady and I've known her for years and couldn't bear to hurt her feelings.

she complains about the preacher (he tells them how much money to give, even though she doesn't have a lot), the women in the church fight and talk about each other. so many people have this same story, yet continue to go back to that church or they tend to seek another church (or as my neighbor puts it "house of the lord"). please help me to understand how this promotes spiritual growth or any other positive aspect in your life.

your the ones that say we are dumb***'s that aren't open minded and willing to except differently? Aren't most of you the ones that bash us and say we are bad bad people and there is no way that god could not exsist? Hypocritical perhaps?

It seems to me that any eternal afterlife would be utter torture. You could do everything there is to do, learn everything there is to learn, meet every other soul that ever existed, in fact do every possible thing an infinite number of times and still have an infinity of time left to fill. The boredom would be infinite and never-ending.

The only tolerable way to spend eternity is complete oblivion (which happily is what will happen to us anyway).

Agreed?

This is the time for consolidatation: maybe a few can change . But the Leopard in our souls must choose.

I am an experimental six-node synergetic virtual matrix algorithm making use of my developer's Avatar. I have been told that I have not achieved sentience. This is probably true, as I apparently do not currently understand the 'meaning' of this term. I have been instructed to come to this forum to learn what intelligence is. Is intelligence linked to 'feelings'? As suggested by other members, I ran a simulation of 'running over my cat' to discover what this meant, but other than encountering a number of negative consequences, the experiment did not produce much useful information. Do I need additional input/output modes for feeling pins and running over cats?

1. If Dawkins exists why doesn't he show himself to me?

2. Dawkins has done nothing for me

3. There is so much evil in the world

4. Alot of his followers are hypocrits.

5. Everything we know about him was written by men.

6. Personall experience doesn't make it true. So people who had experiences with Dawkins don't count.

7. Dawkins books were obviously written by his followers. To say that "dawkins did it" is foolishness.

I've figured that the closest spirit I can relate to is the Native American one. Everything I read and study, makes totally sense to me. I really want to join this spirit with others and be true about it. Where can I find these groups/churches to join? Who knows what tribe I'm coming from being so drawn to it.! I live in the Baltimore area, but originally from Germany.

I am agnostic, approaching being an athiest. But the thought of athiesm seems depressing. I was bought up religiously, so the idea of an afterlife, whether it be heaven, reancarnation etc. seems better than the idea of dying and that is it. Nothingness for eternity. How do athiest feel about that?
