So, you don't beleive in God. Maybe your right. Maybe there is no God. But what if there is? What if your wrong and He is watching you right now, waiting for you to accept Him into your life? What if you are risking your ETERNAL life by mocking Him and not loving Him? If there was no God than I guess you have nothing to lose. But if there is than you could loose everything. Wouldn't you want to take the safe route and give God a chance to show you that He is real?

The disciples therein said that they did not understand what Jesus was talking about when he said how he will be murdered. But certainly the disciples were familiar with Isaiah 53, so the fact that the Messiah would be killed should have been obvious to them. Why were they confused and unable to understand this fact, which is clearly stated in scripture, when Jesus mentioned it to them?

Could we give my son a gift this morning. After a very difficult year on many levels, my son who is 11 found out a few days ago that he's going to need to get an injection every day for the next 3 or 4 years. He has already been pretty worn down from many other events in his life. What do you do to encourage a child and do you have any words for him? He reads Yahoo Answers with me sometimes and I think this will encourage him. Thanks :)

Here we are in the R & S part of Yahoo, some of us trying to learn something that we don't understand, or giving good answers to help those who have questions about some particular thing relating to God, or Christ or Christianity, or even Spiritualism, and some "well meaning" person just butts in, and gives a stupid answer telling us how stupid Christians are for believing in God or Christ, and announcing to everyone how much knowledge they have, now that they have found the truth! Their truth being that God doesn't exist, or some other derogatory nonsense. I appreciate a personal belief about Atheism, if that is how one actually feels, even tho I don't agree. But to keep seeing, sometimes nasty comments to a sincere question; is getting a bit old!! What do you think?

say that athests would still not believe the truth even if you showed the proof, HOW DO YOU KNOW UNTILL YOU TRY, just because we do not accept the holy books, or the argument, just look around at trees and stuff as proof. if there WAS proof of god, their probably would not be athests.

but now i am confused. I have been reading the bible and i found out that the jewish people wrote it and that some of the stories may not be true and that they are just examples of Gods rules and what will happen if they are not followed. But i feel like i cant connect with God if i dont know what truly happened. Are any of the stories in the Bible true? Is there anything to prove that they are? Should i just believe that the stories are true so that i can trust in God.

When Darwin showed that living organisms are the product of an unthinking natural process, that put paid to the Argument from Design - it is no longer possible to look at a living organism and say "it looks like it's designed, therefore there must be a designer". The funny thing is, I still see people trying to resurrect this long-discredited argument as a proof of god, and making themselves look a little foolish in the process. Why do they do this? You would think that people would look for something better, more sophisticated, less easy to debunk.

I don't believe that it is right to date outside of you belief becasue it can cause many conflict, the bible says "not to be yoke together with unbelievers" and it also tells us to "come out from among them.
