What do you think of the Duke University primatologist Elwyn Simons and his 29m year old skulls, which led him to believe that "our ancestor was stupid"?
29 million years!! Imagine that!

Sweet is so sweet! and is right in saying that our ancestors weren't stupid... They were so much more perfect than what we are today... that it was absolutely possible then, to live up to 969 years old, for Methuselah (Genesis 5: 25) and Adam and Eve, until 935 years of age... before they actually died in the day of the Creator which is a thousand years to us!!!
I'd like to take this opportunity to inform Primoa, that even though Adam and Eve were only created about 6,000 years ago, the true God and his sons, have been busy for millions, if not billions of billions of years before that ever became thought of, and then some more millions of years before it became a reality and that it could very well be that some "prototypes" of what "mankind" would be, as it was meant to live forever, remember? and therefore required a "body" that would be absolutely capable of restoring itself on a continuous basis and not break down and die like everything had done and still does until then... All things are possible with God! And we should know that by now!!! and quit questionning the Maker of all things... of all other gods... including the rebellious one who had probably done such great things himself as beautiful Lucifer, that it got to his head big time and by the time he was granted the position of supervising the earth for us, it was more than he could take not to upsurge his own heavenly Father and Eternal God, who could very well write him right out of existence but knew in His wisdom, that the problem would could then only begin once more at a later date... so He allowed him to have it his way... until his ways were going to prove without a shadow of a doubt that they were not only evil, but futile, as they only brought death and misery in an otherwise perfect earth. So, I for one, would have no problem believing anything at all that any scientist would bring forth as an ancient skull, etc. We certainly weren't there as to know all that these spiritual sons of God, were allowed to do... just as we, as parents also allow our kids to slowly create things with their two hands, so did our heavenly Father... Which could very well be why He once said that all things weren't blessed on the earth. Since all of what He and his only-begotton son did were perfect, who did the things not so perfect and not blessed??? such as the little black flies in the country, maybe??? I don't know everything!!!! Not yet anyway!!! But I sure don't mind putting in the effort and am forever working on it!!! every single day!!! as I love knowledge of every single thing under the sun!!! It's fantastic!!!

I was just watching the Discovery channel the other day. Interesting thing was said. They believe that because of the amount of carbon in the rocks that the prehistoric atomoshpere wasn't to different from ours. They said that life could have started as early as 250 Million years before they thought previously.
As for mankind, God made Adam from the DUST. .... interesting. I'm not saying that we came from monkeys, But I am saying that God uses science and it's interesting to me....

You are going to have to give a source. There are lots of skulls older and younger that that. Dr. Simons apparently works with primates, but he has a lot of papers.

Humans would have self-destructed in that amount of time, I would think! But if that's true (29m), and we survived that long, there's no way our ancestors were stupid!!

I think it is interesting.We do not measure time in the manner of God, he filled this earth long before Adam and Eve,how long, most likely 4 billion tears ago.
