Its been revised and translated so many times in so many different versions through quite a few different languages. It was made into a complete book at the time of Constantine in the 400's, so before then the individual books of the bible were pretty much at the mercy of anyone who copied or translated them without an official guide. So in answer, I should imagine so.

spelt, not 'spellt'!

I read the bible a lot when I was younger, and never saw a spelling mistake, but there are so many different versions and editions I probably haven't read a fraction of them, but they probably have a lot of proof-reading done before they publish.
