Many JWs have told me that Jesus has already come back, but invisibily. Where is this indicated in the bible?

They are still also expecting him to actually come back. Which scripture says he'll come back twice?

Thanks!

if dying is so great to get to heaven, why don't the very religious teachers and leaders strap one on themselves?

Evolution claims that we evolved, so does this mean we are evolving into better things? If so, then why is the world getting worse and worse?
From what I can clearly observe, the earth brings forth weeds on its own, not food. Explain
The earth is a place of unrest, fightings, divisions, wars, and death and decay.
If you leave food out a while without it being refrigerated, it goes BAD, If you leave anything alone awhile, it goes BAD. We have to keep making new stuff all the time.
How in the world do evolutionists actually think we are evolving better and better? ie: we used to be lower apes, but now after zillions and zillions and zillions of zillions of zillions of millenniums for no apparent reason whatsoever,we all became humans who fight and war with each other.
I see no evidence that we're evolving since everything tends to go bad and it does.
So, for a while we went from apes to humans, now we're going from humans to death and decay. It looks like evolution did a 360 degree turn

"Obeying God's will, Moses returned to Egypt and ordered the pharaoh, Ramses II, to "let my people go!" The pharaoh refused, so God unleashed 10 plagues on the Egyptians. The 10th was the killing of the firstborn in every home. The Israelite homes were passed over (which is the origin of the Jewish Passover celebration)."

What did those poor children ever do to god? Why punish one guy (pharaoh) by killing so many innocents? If god is unchanging, will he kill again?

I am a catholic, and when I look at your answers you spend more time talking about God than any "average" Christian. Are you looking for a proof?

Have an action figure that not only talks about loving God but also raps Christian friendly flows. Just pull the string and watch Jesus 'get down'!

No grossness intended. But the idea scares me.
Do you think one of them would end up raping the other?
For humans : Is sex a need or a want?
For animals: Is sex a need or a want?

Apologies...In a recent question I referred to the word "truthiness" but apparently many have not heard of the term...

...things that a person claims to know intuitively, instinctively, or "from the gut" without regard to evidence, logic, intellectual examination, or actual facts

Will it disappear to a few small fundy groups, will it grow? will it stagnate or evolve, will adapt to modern science or shun it? What do you think?

Seems like the better option in this case.

Seriously, you can't be Christian, not HIS Chrisitan, but Christian, and not feel badly that another soul has been lost to evil and bigotry. If some of our world leaders and religious leaders have been troubled people who turned themselves around, then isn't a shame, not for us but for him, that he never turned around likewise?
"So you have wished unto the least of my brethren, so you have wished upon me," to paraphrase.

My intentions are not to try to disprove the Bible. This is just a question I have always had a hard time understanding, even when I was a Christian. What are your thoughts on it?

In the first day, God created the light and the darkness. But on the fourth day, God created the lights in the sky, such as the sun, and the stars. Now, from a scientific view, the sun is what gives us light, we all know that. So how was light created before the sun was? And even before the sun was created, it states that there was already morning and evening. Yet the rotation of the earth is what causes that, it is when the earth turns away from the sun, that evening is produced. so how could this have happened before the sun was created?

John 8:42: "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I proceeded forth and come from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me."

Ok well let me just come right out and say it..I stoped believeing in god because my life sucks............And I've been having lots of evil things as of late............I've wanted to commit suicide...I've lusted after the flesh.........I've done nothing to please god whatsoever and I hate my life so much that I just want it to end but if there is a god then I want to live....but ok here's the problem that I have......I have a cuz who is a atheist and a friend who is a buddist and....Also I've been stalking this who isn't even my friend anymore but she likes girls and guys and thats wrong and agaisnt the bible...So I've been purseing this girl and I might wind up in jail.

So here's my question

If I want to come back to god can I leave certain people out?

Like my cuz or like my friend who is a buddist because I think that there influnce on me casts a evil presance on me? so is it good to exculde certain people from god? to help me get closer to god and believe in him again?

Christ and his word are based on John's interpretation, and you say
we are to take the word of a betrayer...I think I will stop at my
believing in God and maybe consider your blasphemous ideas with your
degradation of My god by your views and implications caused by the
mythological belief in a "prophet". There is one God and he was the creator of man
in his image to all be gods over this planet, one with nature, and, my
friend, if the rest of you would get on board and work on our
depressing behaviour toward  protecting our earth in the name of God the
creator, we would all be better off. It is interesting that the worst
case scenarios towards Nature's desecration, are self professed Christians
leading industry and government...no man, do not preach Christianity to
me...the narrow scope and bigotry of your Christianity has caused more
damage to nature and humanity than any other form of belief...and one
last item before I disappear is that if one considers the
Roman Catholics Christians, then one has to believe in Paganism for
their rituals and behaviour...Sorry if I offend but hey it comes with the
territory...Oh, isn't GWB a Christian...need I say
more?

I know some people think that to vote is to get involved in politics, which must be Satanic. Others say that if you are committed to God's Kingdom you cannot show any loyalty / support to earthly political kingdoms / governments. I know most such people are decent, law-abiding citizens, of course, so I'm NOT implying THEY are anarchistic in any way! I just wonder if such people have thought through the logic with regard to governments possibly descending into anarchy through lack of public support. Is that what they would actually like to see or are they so sure they will remain a minority that anarchy would never result?
