Evolution claims that we evolved, so does this mean we are evolving into better things? If so, then why is the world getting worse and worse?
From what I can clearly observe, the earth brings forth weeds on its own, not food. Explain
The earth is a place of unrest, fightings, divisions, wars, and death and decay.
If you leave food out a while without it being refrigerated, it goes BAD, If you leave anything alone awhile, it goes BAD. We have to keep making new stuff all the time.
How in the world do evolutionists actually think we are evolving better and better? ie: we used to be lower apes, but now after zillions and zillions and zillions of zillions of zillions of millenniums for no apparent reason whatsoever,we all became humans who fight and war with each other.
I see no evidence that we're evolving since everything tends to go bad and it does.
So, for a while we went from apes to humans, now we're going from humans to death and decay. It looks like evolution did a 360 degree turn

That's cos the world keeps in step with the natural laws such as the 2nd law of thermodynamics and biological mutations and the spiritual truths of original sin whereas evolution...does not. It's false.

Think about it. It was once believed that the earth was flat. Now it has been established for a certainty that it is spherical in shape. That is a fact. It was once believed that the earth was the center of the universe and that the heavens revolved around the earth. Now we know for sure that the earth revolves in an orbit around the sun. This, too, is a fact. Many things that were once only debated theories have been established by the evidence as solid fact, reality, truth. Would an investigation of the evidence for evolution leave one on the same solid ground? Interestingly, ever since Charles Darwin’s book The Origin of Species was published in 1859, various aspects of the theory have been a matter of considerable disagreement even among top evolutionary scientists. Today, that dispute is more intense than ever. And it is enlightening to consider what advocates of evolution themselves are saying about the matter. Read the very first chapter of the Bible. And then look around you. How could all of this come by chance?

Well, first of all, human beings did NOT evolve from apes. Apes AND human beings evolved from something else. As did everything else alive today.

You're also making a classic mistake of assuming the evolution has a DIRECTION. In fact it is simply a pattern of changes in reaction to other changes--a reaction, rather than a plan. When the environment dries up, those who need less water live longer and have more offspring. If a new predator wanders in from another region, the faster animals live longer and have more offspring. As temperatures rise (or fall), those organisms best suited for the change live longer and have more offspring. Tiny changes that accummulate over time, with a few sudden BIG changes happening every now and then (usually the result of a viable hybrid). But it is all as random as a poker game.

In fact all of nature is a struggle for limited resources, which is also the ultimate source of all human conflicts. Were it not for this struggle, evolution would not take place. There would be no competition. Likewise evolution (and life) could not take place were it not fueled by energy--in this case by the Sun. Everything alive on Earth owes its life to the energy pouring from the Sun to the surface of the planet (enough to keep water liquid but not so much as boil it all away).

I am sorry you believe things are going bad. Seems to me there is some good news as well as tragic news in the world. Might I suggest you take another good look around?

Yep In the last few hundred years alone:

Our jaw has gotten noticeably smaller
Our little toe has gotten much smaller
We are about 25% bigger.

Have you ever looked at real period armor. It is way to small for anyone now. These changes not just nutrition either because they are heritable. Meaning your children will be big even if they are under nourished.

If you see no evidence perhaps you would care to explain how creation sorted the fossils into layers? The fossils found in the deeper (and thus older layers) are significantly simpler and further away from modern species. This is true in plants and animals and there are NEVER exceptions. This is the Law of Fossil Succession. It always matches evolution and doesn't match creation in six days at all. Here is a simple chart and additional reading from the US Geological Society (a government agency) http://pubs.usgs.gov/gip/fossils/succession.html

You have a lot of questions and not in the right context. For instance, Corn could be considered a weed if it grows in your flower bed. We are not derived from apes.... at some point we shared a common ancestor but were are not the same lineage. There is no 180 degree turn of events. conflict and death and decay has been there virtually from the beginning. I am not big on the bible, but there is plenty of unrest and conflict there. Be thankful that we have refrigeration and farms. You assume that things should get better. Well, in many respects, they have. Just look at the hygiene of the past civilizations vs. Now. You will be thankful for the flush toilet and chlorinated water!

1. a 360 degree leaves us back here. I think you meant a 180.
2. evolutionists believe that animals and humans evolve to adapt to new environments. Survival of the fittest and all that.
3. the Earth does produce food on its own. What do you think we started eating all those years ago? Hamburgers? Do you think all food is manmade?
4. everything fights for survival. A lot of animals are territorial. It's a fundamental part of nature.
5. the world has always had bad things happen it.

You really have no clue how evolution works do you? Please do some research or take a class on anthropology because your question sounds extremely uneducated. First of all, and I don't know how many times I have to tell people like you this, we did not evolve from apes, we evolved from a common ancestor. Second, no one ever said we were evolving into something better and better. If you really don't see how evolution works just take a look at domestic cats and dogs. How did dogs like chihuahua's come into existence if it wasn't for evolution? All dogs came from a common ancestor too, the wolf. How does this not make sense to people?????

You are all wrong about what evolution means. And the human race HAS changed in the past few millenia. We are taller, live longer, some think we are smarter, we have made many advances. Study the science instead of what your Sunday School teacher tells you and you might learn something new. What makes changes in species is natural selection and mutation. Being intelligent, we are able to do our own selecting, therefore keeping the status quo.

Other people have said this, but maybe if enough different people point it out, it's more likely to be understood:

Evolution is about becoming better able to survive in your particular environment. It's nothing to do with becoming better in any other sense.

Evolution, I would add, is also short sighted to the point of being blind. It doesn't think ahead and try to avoid letting creatures evolve that will damage their own environment. That just isn't how evolution works.

Your argument is ironic in that most WARS are started by RELIGION. Which, I am sure is what you intend this argument to lead to...

FYI: the world is not getting worse and worse, the world is actually a whole lot better than it used to be. It's all a matter of perspective. Thank god we don't still live in Nazi Germany, or the slave days, or during the 1800's when life expectancy was around 47 years old.

Evolution just means change...that life changes and that there are biologically based factors that influence this change. It doesn't mean that the change is good or bad.

Humans are a biological factor that has brought about change. We used to just walk around and find food...then we discovered that we could plant things and so now there are farms...farming brought about changes in plants and so now the food we grow is not much like the food we used to find while wandering around. Farming also brought about changes in people...gathering food doesn't lead to plentiful supplies and people would go hungry and die = fewer people. Farming = more food= more people.

Heck...even refridgerators couldn't have been invented without evolution (we don't have to work as hard just to feed ourselves so we had more time for inventions and science).

I could go on and on, but that would be a book... :)
