Christ and his word are based on John's interpretation, and you say
we are to take the word of a betrayer...I think I will stop at my
believing in God and maybe consider your blasphemous ideas with your
degradation of My god by your views and implications caused by the
mythological belief in a "prophet". There is one God and he was the creator of man
in his image to all be gods over this planet, one with nature, and, my
friend, if the rest of you would get on board and work on our
depressing behaviour toward  protecting our earth in the name of God the
creator, we would all be better off. It is interesting that the worst
case scenarios towards Nature's desecration, are self professed Christians
leading industry and government...no man, do not preach Christianity to
me...the narrow scope and bigotry of your Christianity has caused more
damage to nature and humanity than any other form of belief...and one
last item before I disappear is that if one considers the
Roman Catholics Christians, then one has to believe in Paganism for
their rituals and behaviour...Sorry if I offend but hey it comes with the
territory...Oh, isn't GWB a Christian...need I say
more?

Christians are just people. The first thing the Bible teaches us is that all of us sin, some of us are just too blind to see ourselves clearly. Christianity, on this earth, does not "turn out" perfect people. It just demands that we try to be better people than we started out. And organized religion is the creation of people, not God. But God wants us to stick together, as we need each other.
As far as nature, the fact that we mess it up so bad is a demonstration that we are NOT gods, never will be. The Bible tells us that when Jesus returns, things will be healed. But there will be no more sea. So I often wonder what will happen to all the sea creatures. Maybe there will be "salt rivers."
Regarding making man in God's image, we are. He is triune, body/mind/spirit, we are triune.... (God has no gender, just a way for us to understand Him)

Hi,
I'm sorry you are so angry at some people, but you seem to forget that we (including yourself) have not made it to perfection yet! If you have all the answers, then why haven't I heard of you before? Oh, I almost forgot, you're not perfect yet, so you too are flawed in some way, which means the job of running the planet isn't quit your bag...at least not just yet. Once you dismount of that very high horse you've managed to climb upon, maybe you could at least start a world wide education program to help enlighten the rest of us earth consuming Christians in a way to live more perfect lives....In Christ name of course! In the mean time have a blessed day, and don't get so worked up! Besides God did say he would bring to ruin those that ruin the Earth....and I don't believe that Christians have cornered the market on this one. Oh yeah, I think you may have been thinking of Judas...not John!
