I have heard this phrase many many many times... So is that the reason Christians (not all just some) despise Mohamed (pbuh) because he did not die for us so he is not considered noble? There is no way to prove that Jesus (pbuh) died for you guys because
First~ Bible was written 100 years after he died through oral traditions and things change and people change.
Second~ He was sentenced to death but many say well he wanted to do it if he had not he could have called God upon those people.. CAN you PROVE that? because Suicide is Forbidden in christianity.. and if he could have asked God or (Father) for help he should have, otherwise he committed Suicide not Sacrifice.
third- the conclave did happen, thats a historical event and no one can deny that.
So BECAUSE OUR MOHAMED (PBUH) did not commit suicide you don't think he was noble there for not worthy to be a prophet????

Oh and HEY RAY: don't tell me not to say peace be upon him because thats respect full and I will say it...

I am a little confused. Don't you have to believe in something to not believe in it? You believe it exists or you would not have to say you don't believe in it? Or am I wrong on this one?

I know some moderates accept evolution as true and proven, but this is for the hard liners, the biblical literalists..

It's a hypothetical question so no need for evasion and denial tactics. So "if" you could be convinced why the many years of scientific research and data conclude that evolution is a sound explanation for the diversity of all life, how could you interpret your bible so literally?

This is what many moderates have been able to do, could you do it to, or are ALL the other christians who accept evolution wrong?
And what do you have to say to them?

To the moderates, who also comprehend and embrace the scientific perspective, what do you have to say to the biblical literalists or hard liners like creationists etc?

Who is right..??

How was the term Atheist made up?

Someone told me that Atheist is not actually a name of a belief, it was a term made up by religious people who wanted to name all the Non-God believers. This person also said that someone can not call themselves an atheist: atheism does not exist: you either believe in God in some way or form, or you believe in science.

So what do you guys think about that? ^^^^

I am asking with all due respect. And if anyone is rude I promise I will report you.

Where and why did people chose to take God's name and use as a swear word? Is it fairly new, or were people swearing like this since Jesus's time? Do you know what I mean?? :)

Also, are they going to lose their redemption since they are apparently losing their faith in God, which is evident in how they fight each other?

I am an agnostic and reading Q&A both the religous and the athiests are so convenced they are correct and everyone who is not like them is evil and or dumb for their beliefs. cristians u need to read the bible agin and stop judging , and aithiests u need to understand that its ok have youre beliefs if they work for u but no need to get so nasty over it all it comes off as u are simply terrified that god is real so u attack anything to do with religion. can either of you justify youre actions? I say if jesus makes u feel whole inside more power to you ( but stop knocking on my door for crying out loud, everyone in america knows about jesus its up to them now u just turn people off pestering them,) and aithiests if yr happy why stress over what others do .. live and let live , The world would be a better place if we all just accepted that its ok to beleave in diferent things...

Fact:Believers claims that prayers are answered in a manner of yes, no, or later.

Now assume that you prayed to God for a bad thing i.e. murder to someone for a bad reason, and it came true the very next day. Through the process of elimination we could conclude that the answer to your prayer must’ve been yes.

Now my questions are: If it was just coincidence, why can’t we call the rest of prayers coincidence? If it was God’s work should the murderer/killer be rewarded for accomplishing God’s will? And if the devil did it, then why did their God gave the devil this ability – intervenes who dies or who doesn’t?

My point: Prayers are superstitious; all “so-called” miracles can be explained through science.

How could evolution be part of Gods creation(religion)?
Evolution is not in the bible. Adam and Eve were not pre-monkeys. Humans according to the bible were made from dirt. Are they talking about the evolution of Adam and Eve's offspring into multicultural identities or what? In religious evolution theories, did dinosaurs exists? Are only humans evolving or do animals evolve too(Im asking that because religions are human-centric)? Is the Big-Bang theory still used? Did God create us humans first or was it micro-organisms that evolved into animals and than to us? How could people merge evolution with religion. Why do religious people start believing in the evolution theory? Is it because of the adaptation? Im asking this because of a question posted earlier about evolution/religion.

This is not meant to be an offensive question, but an honest one. This doesn't in any way reflect my belief, but it's something I've wondered. I've heard people say that they would have to choose one sex or the other, and marry the opposite, but then that raises the question...So if I change my sex, can I marry the sex I want to be with? All opinions welcome. Please keep it mature, as so am I. This is an honest question.

Well, other than saying 'god did it'.
They never offer to explain even one single aspect of how life began.
Even if you say 'god did it', ok, how? How did he do it? Did he have a magic wand? Or did he just make everything out of clay and breathe on it? What is his breath composed of? What chemical reaction occured that changed clay into flesh (and organs)? And what was the point of creating dinosaurs (and millions of other animals) just to have them go extinct?
In other words, when are the creation 'scientists' going to produce some actual work instead of trying to poke holes in evolution? Why exactly should people search for answers to questions in the natural world in a book about the supernatural?

wether is Christianity,Islam,Judaism,Taoism,Buddhism,Athiest etc etc. why do we as people think our religion is better than someone elses? Are we that conceitied or are we just blind to see that there is no true answer out there of exisitance of a higher being. I do believe in this higher being and im aware of his presence. But why is religion becoming a topic that people around the world are fighting and killing themselves over. Will society ever accept all religions? Will religion eventually be erased from society? Will this higher being show his or her face on this Earth?
