I know some moderates accept evolution as true and proven, but this is for the hard liners, the biblical literalists..

It's a hypothetical question so no need for evasion and denial tactics. So "if" you could be convinced why the many years of scientific research and data conclude that evolution is a sound explanation for the diversity of all life, how could you interpret your bible so literally?

This is what many moderates have been able to do, could you do it to, or are ALL the other christians who accept evolution wrong?
And what do you have to say to them?

To the moderates, who also comprehend and embrace the scientific perspective, what do you have to say to the biblical literalists or hard liners like creationists etc?

Who is right..??

That's a mundane question, evolution has been proved beyond any shadow of a doubt. People can believe what they want but that doesn't change reality at all.

The only way to truly know what happened is to go back in time and watch it happen. Since there is absolutely no way to do that, this "theory" has not been proven and made into a "scientific LAW." Theories are not factual. They are backed up with factual evidence, but truly can not be considered fact until all evidence has been presented without a shadow of a doubt that anything is incorrect. That being said, if you could go back and prove one way or the other then I would accept it. But I don't believe that the Theory of Natural Selection and evolution will ever be proven as fact. They are a great attempt at an explanation, just like the Big Bang, and every other "theory" that has been hatched by the great thinkers of the world, but it can not be called fact.

This works the same with Creationism, there is no way to truly know without getting in a time machine and going back and watching it happen, but since that isn't possible I have to trust a source that has thus far proven credible for me.

The Creator gives everyone a choice and you have to take the bitter with the sweet! Some would rather do the evolution because findings are big thing in the world people get paid high bucks for their findings and experiments . why mess up a sure thing when you are getting paid. Mans words mean nothing to a Christian and you and science are wasting your time. Is man really sure that is the question. Year after year and century after century, man goes to the mountain and often falls off because of his self serving ways. Clones for example man wanted to make another man in a petree dish, failed. Made other animals but did they live long. Scientist are always going back to the drawing board and other men rich ,very rich are paying for it. How about solving world hunger and getting a link on cheaper fuel. Educational activities for people unemployed, Helping the starving children and their families, something that means something to the real man or woman. Christians, are who they are because the spirit within,Gods spirit. We can not help what we are and how God made us no more than you,but you can take this to the bank,we are glad about it!

That's like saying, 'If you were convinced that 3 + 3 = 7 would you still believe in the principles of mathematics?' Probably not...but then again 3 + 3 does not equal 7 so what does it matter.

Most REAL scientists know that evolution is flawed and most biblical literists know that it takes the Holy Spirit to correctly understand scripture. But above all, is this, if a cHristian were convinced that mainstream 'evolution' was true then they'd no longer really be christian b/c through Jesus were all things created. "...God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:" Eph. 3:9b

Some evolutionists have some things right but there are way too many flaws to really convince me of how things really went down.

If you were to give up your baseless faith in evolution would you accept the bible as truth?

Fundamentilist don't deal in what if's. Thats the evolutionist that deal in what ifs. What if man evolved from a lower species? What if the universe was created from a big ball of matter that compressed itself till it exploded and don't ask me where the matter came from? What if life just sprung up by pure accident because the conditions on one rock in space were right for a cosmic accident and please don't point out that the amino acids that came about by our experiments by definition had a creator?

My brothers and sisters in Messiah. Will you please stop elevating evolution to a theory. Evolution is mearly a guess and in scientific terms scientists call guesses Hypothisis. Lets not perpetuate the myth that evolutionis a theory when it is nothing more than an attempt to deny the creator.
Repent

It's not that Evolution is so distant from being capable for being the way God did it. There has been so many rivalries that have 'evolved' into the argument these days. What the Evolutionists have done in many cases is try to say that if Evolution is true, then God is not. I find that to be presumptive, to say the least.

If evolution was proven absolutely true, It would do nothing in destroying my faith in God. Because my faith isn't pivoting on whether God evolved things or not. It's based upon trust in God. Evolution has nothing to do with the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

So I think that the whole debate started with Darwin for the most part, and also with the trials that eventually allowed evolution to be taught in schools. I won't wait around for evolution to hbe proven, it actually has little to do with anything.

Why do Evangelical Christians interpret the Bible so literally? Answer: The Holy Bible says what it meant and meant what it said. 2 Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. The "private interpretation" is commanding us not to try to interpret but take literally word for word. Only the Holy Ghost can lead a man to understand the Truth of the Holy Scriptures. I'm sick of radicals deciding what constitutes righteousness, and then trying to inflict their opinions upon the rest of society because they are ignorant enough to think that they are helping us with their scare tactics. Answer: Romans 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, Romans 1:21-23 (King James Version) 21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

I will see Him in all His Glory, Flesh --Bone No Blood,New Life Source inside out. He has given His Word and He can"t Lie.

I think its funny that Christianity did begin to interpret the Bible literally until the counter-reformation of the 17th century. Even western European Christians in the midst of the Dark Ages had enough sense to understand the Bible in symbolic terms. Modern Biblical literalists are interpreting the Bible more literally now than in any other time in history.

Bible-based Christians (I always say Bible-based coz not all who profess to be Christians are genuine Christians) would never, never believe in evolution. In fact, science never intervened nor disproved creation. It has always supported the Bible and creation. And the Bible is not always interpreted literally. Archaelogy has always proven the reliability of the Bible. What is amazing is that some people burn their eyebrows, crack their brain, eat their hearts out, and get themselves headaches in making issues that are not profitable to them. These evolutionists, I wonder where they got their bases from.

The theory of macro-evolution is a farce. Even scientists know that it has insurmountable problems because natural selection works against macro-evolution. Here's a link for you to check out that has the latest theory of how macro-evolution could be possible http://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2006-01/uop-ppt012506.php

But to answer your question more specifically, you can't prove the theory of evolution because you can't prove how life came into existence and you can't prove that a one-celled creature was transformed over time into all of the millions of complex creatures alive today. It's like trying to prove something about a planet that is in another galaxy. Unless you can create a time machine all you can do is speculate about what happened in the past.

Besides all of that, I believe that God created life here on this planet just like I believe that God created all of the matter in this universe. Even if you believe the big bang theory you still can't explain where the matter came from to go BANG!

Logically nothing should exist because something can't come from nothing and saying that matter has always existed is the same as saying "I don't know how matter came to be, I guess maybe it was just always here" and that doesn't make any sense.
