Well, other than saying 'god did it'.
They never offer to explain even one single aspect of how life began.
Even if you say 'god did it', ok, how? How did he do it? Did he have a magic wand? Or did he just make everything out of clay and breathe on it? What is his breath composed of? What chemical reaction occured that changed clay into flesh (and organs)? And what was the point of creating dinosaurs (and millions of other animals) just to have them go extinct?
In other words, when are the creation 'scientists' going to produce some actual work instead of trying to poke holes in evolution? Why exactly should people search for answers to questions in the natural world in a book about the supernatural?

It's kinda like asking a child what the Tooth Fairy does with the teeth she collects.

Its a near unanswerable question at least if you want something definitive. It is important that you are looking for quantifiable scientific results but asking about God a supernatural being. Science is essentially the study of nature, it doesn't speak the language of God, or another way to put it is God, the supernatural exist outside of the realm of nature and science. As for the other part of your question many smarter academics do debate this very question and you might be impressed with how they lay out their arguments a few months ago Time magizine featured an interesting debate. Here is a link http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1555132,00.html Funny enough you might recognize one of the professors he had a role in a recent south park episode the one where eric freezes himself to get a Wii.

well the way i see it is that both theories have a whole lot of holes in them and im not saying one is right and one is wrong. i cant say that because no one, and i mean no one, knows for sure. i dont care who you are you dont know. but the creationism theory likes us to ignor any and all evidence of any kind of evolution that may have occured wich there is a lot of.
i mean people dont argue that dogs came from wolves and that people selectively bred them to fit their needs. so common ancestor- the wolf- became many, many differant kinds of dogs. bog ones, little ones, long hair short hair curly straight.
so if people can do this much to a species in a few thousand years why couldnt nature do it in a few million or even billion. people arguing the creationism theory generally think that evolution theories sugjest **** happened over night but they fail to grasp how long a few million years really is. the average human lifespan is like what 80 years?
so even a million years would be like 12000 lifetimes. thats like 56000 generations of an animal. look at how much people change from one generation to another. now think of those subtle changes over 50000 times compounded on top of eachother. hows that for a fresh point ov view?

Because God is the explanation. They wouldn't know how he went about doing it. But you have your own problems, because no matter what you say, you still violate the first law of thermodynamics. Something can not come out of nothing. That energy to make the big bang must have came from some other source, which theists just like to name God. Saying that someone who is independent of physical nature and is exempt from its rules made the universe, therefore, sounds rational.

Here's a practical example of how God works. Christ once met a blind man who asked him if he could give him his sight back. So Christ mixed his spittle with some dirt and made a paste which he rubbed on the man's eyes. The man then went and washed the paste off and his sight was restored. This is what the power of God is like, simple, loving, and capable of creating and healing life. Until you appreciate the miracle of the blind man you will never understand how the universe came to be like it is.

Well they are all full of that Brown stuff that comes out of your butt after you eat. They aren't intelligent people, they just make stuff up, they weren't there when it happened, there are only speculations and they are stupid enough to think it's true, and it becomes a "belief"....The major thing that the Evolution idea has on the whole God bit, is it actually makes sense....other than that it's up in the damn air, they would both be a load of ****.

HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF OLD EARTH CREATIONISM! It is based on science and the scientists that are trying to prove evolution are actually disproving themselves and proving OLD EARTH CREATIONISM. The big bang happened because of God. Read THE GENESIS QUESTION BY HUGH ROSS, it is a very good book.

Why would you ask such a question? Have you done the research yourself or have you just read the books or got your opinions through hearsay? Your just as convinced as I am without any proof whatsoever of your position. "Yes, they have proof of evolution, I've seen it myself, no really"
The guys (scientists) I listen to say evolution did not occur and DNA evidence suggests we all have a common mother (Eve). I have no proof and you don't either.

Ok so you're going to find this so ridiculously funny you won't believe me but the person who invented the big bang theory was actually a catholic bishop.
interesting huh. (i'm honestly not trying to be smug)
