If they do not believe Prophet Isa (pbuh) was a Prophet why do they even compare Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) with him? Why not compare him then with the Prophets they do believe in. I only read the first 3 lines of the link Joe gave and immediately realized it was another biased christian website and closed it. Does the fact that Muhammad (pbuh) fought disprove that he was a Prophet? Then why is Prophet Musa (pbuh) or Moses still believed to be a Prophet? Moses described in the Bible is a lot more violent.

Is getting the electric chair for commiting a crime the same as suicide? Even if you had the chance to get away and didn't take it?
No. Jesus was tried and found guilty of blasphemy. His punishment was crucifixion, which He suffered through even though He didn't have to. Jesus is noble because He loved us enough to die for us, and proved it.
Hundreds of people saw Jesus after the ressurection, the news of this event spread like wildfire throughout the Roman Empire. Even 100 years later its hard to get a detail like that wrong. The Titanic sunk almost 100 years ago...and I'll bet you know what sunk it, don't you?

I wouldn't go Bible-bashing if I were you. are you aware that Mohammed claimed to get the revalation of what all happened about 4500 years after it happened, starting from the first man?
we don't hate mohammed. we just don't see him as one of our prophets a) because he created a different religion b) he started long after the Bible was done, and therefore couldn't add anything to it. New Testament authors had to be those who knew Christ, or who told the story of someone who knew Christ. i.e.: mark told Peter's story, Luke told Paul's story.
and I asked "why" you say that. I'm actually interested in knowing. it's because I believe that once you're dead, there's nothing more anyone can do for you, even through prayer. you have to be resurrected by God.

Jesus died for all mankind. He DID ask His father "that this cup be removed from Him, but not His will but the Father's will" (no suicide here). Most important = He had to SUFFER AND DIE, to fulfill bible prophecy. By the way the new testament was not written 100 years later. All involved would have been dead. The gospels and letters were written at the time of and by the apostles DURING their lives.

Its not just that Jesus died for us all, but that he overcame by his death, sin....and then was resurrected back to life and he is still alive today. In the old testament of the Bible, sacrifices were offered for sin, to cover the sin. Jesus became a better sacrifice, not just to cover sin, but to remove it once and for all time. He Loved us.... so much that he chose to obey His Father and die for us... It was not suicide, for he did not want to do it and expressed that as he prayed in the garden before his death... "if it be possible, let this cup pass from me, never the less, not my will but Thine be done" He knew the purpose of his death and submitted to it. He did not kill himself, but the executioners did. The key to his death was the resurrection. Without it, Christians do not have a Savior, just a martyr... You need to understand the whole purpose of Jesus coming.

I don't despise Mohamed (pbuh) I just think that he was tricked by an evil angel masquerading as Gabriel. Here is what Gabriel told Mary about Jesus as recorded by Luke who went around interviewing people to find out the facts about Jesus.
Luke 1:26 In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, 27 to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. And the virgin's name was Mary. 28 And he came to her and said, "Greetings, O favored one, the Lord is with you!" 29 But she was greatly troubled at the saying, and tried to discern what sort of greeting this might be. 30 And the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, 33 and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end."
As to God dying for us, that's a question that every Muslim should be asking themselves. "What will happen when I stand before God on judgment day with all of the sins I have committed hanging over my head?"
Rom 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

i`m sorry to tell you but your religion doesn`t make more sense than Christianity... I personally don`t believe in neither Islam or Christianity but seriously now, Jesus( as a man, i don`t care if he was divine or not) hasn`t gone to war and preached peace since Muhammad went to wars...so *this* could be a reason why some Christians don`t like Muhammad

Heed this: There are good and bad, beautiful and ugly (spiritually) Christians, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, etc. ad nauseum. Respect those who would respect your faith and not condemn it as "not the only way to salvation". I value each religion's sacred texts as nothing more than good literature and valuable parable, and I advise you to hold true to what you believe, and not to deign to condemn those who believe otherwise (despite any inflexibility or condemnation on their part). Respect others' beliefs, even if they don't respect yours. That makes you the better person.
As salaam alaykum.

OH NO, God is dead?
Don't you mean Jesus died?
And isn't Jesus in your book, as a prophet?
So are you defaming a prophet in the Holy Book?
Shame on you!

even if Jesus, peace be upon Him, which is not factual, did died for the sins of many people. Then, there would be many more others greater than Him. Because........the Bible did state so, NO GREATER LOVE IS THERE THAN ONE WHO OFFERED HIS LIFE FOR HIS BROTHER. Imagine that, would you be willing to sacrifice your life..........to just one man or would it be better to offer one's life to so many? The offering to just one life is harder thus better!
