I have a friend or well ex-friend but that's beside the point, but she called herself a Christian Deist and that she doesn't believe in organized faith (like bible and church, she believes in god and lives how she wants but even then...she's kind of shitty but that's why we aren't friends anymore lol anyway) but what's a deist? or a Christian Deist? HELP! I was told that there was a verse ommitted from the NASB Bible-I don't own one, so I had to look online-the verse, Revelation 18:11 was in brackets-and no other verses were-does this mean it is ommitted from the NASB? If you own a NASB Bible could you check for me please? THANKS!!!

I'm sick of their babble of church and the bible but I believe and want to believe in God. Can I honestly be a Christian but not believe in all the crap they believe or do I have to become agnostic just to escape their clutches?

i am open give me somthing, i chose what i belive in so dont try to convert me by saying god is good well aparently because your whorshiping him I think you should just butt out until we figure things out for ourselfs dont talk down on us like you do ok and stop try to convert us. becase this is what we are thinking when you talk down on us "shut up about jesus i bet you have done worse things than i have, so stop acting so condesinding alright its not doing you any good" at least if you are try to be equal with us dont talk down and bash what we belevie then we may listen only reason we get pissed off when some one says be christian you'll save your live geuss what im still alive ethier way. so speak equaly we may listen that is the secret you havent heard.

Please help, I've been doing research for a couple of days now and I'm having a hard time finding what I need. I'm trying to establish what the biblical ideals are of what friendships between men and women should be like. If anyone can help me in anyway I would really appreciate it.

In case your curious (which ur probably not) I'm writing a paper on friendships between men and women in the TV show Bones and I'm supposed to say what's whole about how bones shows friendships between men and women and what's broken (by that I mean how does what bones show compare to what I've established as the biblical idea of what it should be like...if that makes any sense.) Then I have to say what I would change to have it fit more completely into that biblical idea.

I am a jr. high student and recently have been very active in my church and youth group, I've been attending a lot of our meetings, and have been to three Christian youth conferences (Battle Cry/Aquire the Fire events).

The thing is, skimming through my Bible as one of our lessons was about to begin, I came across the infamous Leviticus passage- the one that states, "It is disgusting for a man to have sex with another man". Now, not to be critical or anything, but doesn't the Bible also say that God loves us all equally if we are willing to accept Him into our lives?

I can relate to this strongly because, truth be told, I am a bisexual. I realized it about 2 months ago, and I've only told one of my close friends(she handled it very well). I've been wondering about this in relation to the passage- I can't control the fact that I'm bisexual, so what do they expect me to do here?

If I masterbathe to pornography, will I go to hell? My Friend (Catholic, but I consider us both the same, only they believe in Saints and Chrisitans just in Jesus And god) told me its normal and God wont kill me or send me to hell or nothin, but Im not sure.
