Petey, we're all lost to an extent. Your just listening to all those that claim otherwise. Have you ever heard of Jesus as an existentialist? In other words not the virgin birth, miracles, death, and Resurrection, but rather what He said. They called Him the "Word", but most faiths spend all their time with this Saul/St. Paul dude. Paul never explained, edified, or reiterated anything that Jesus said! He had 14 books too! U mentioned "born again Christian". When Jesus talked about being born again there were "no" Christians. He also referenced going back to the "womb". Your daddy and mama could have been preachers, but you still wouldn't have been a Christian at the very beginning (womb). I don't know much, but I don't think when Jesus said, "unless you be born......", He was talking about becoming a renewed Christian. Just some thoughts. These people that know Jesus personally, aren't really that honest. Least I don't think so.

If you're pursuing a personal relationship with God and have the intention to be Christ-like in your heart, then God is pleased with you. God understands that none of us are perfect. Our new, spotless spirit is still trapped in this sinful flesh ... and the two will fight against each other until we die and go to Heaven. But don't be confused -- God being pleased with our actions does not mean that we will get everything that we want.
God is always around, he's everywhere. Its your anger and frustration that is separating you from him. You should talk to God about this, not us. Tell him how you feel. Tell him you feel like he's far away and that there are things going on in your life that you don't understand and you're angry ... but also tell him that you don't like feeling this way and you want to be close to him again. He'll lead you in the right direction. I'll be praying for you!

It's OK to be human and have those feeling. We learn feelings shouldn't control our faith. Psalms are wonderful to read when feeling down. David had the same emotional battles as we do today.
PS 130:3 If you, O LORD, kept a record of sins, O Lord, who could stand? PS 130:4 But with you there is forgiveness;
therefore you are feared. PS 130:5 I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope. PS 130:6 My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning,
more than watchmen wait for the morning.

If you know that what you are doing is upright, and that you are doing it with love, then there is no need to have fear that you are not pleasing God. He sees all that is done, and will reward you when the time comes. It's natural to get angry with God, especially when you're going through hard times, and you need a breakthrough and it just doesn't seem to be coming. But hold on......hang in there and keep your faith alive. Don't give up now.....because sometimes, just when you feel like giving up is the time when God is about to do something extraordinary. And even though you feel lost sometimes.....you're never lost in God's sight. ;)
Peace.

The "Blessed Mother Teresa" sometimes spoke of a "Black - Love" (being a nun she was married to God) ... as with in a marriage, the begging is honey mooned and heighten with bliss. However, as you get familiar with God (or a husband), you can stagnate. The Blessed Mother suffered from this stagnation which she refered to as a "Black Love" ... however, this NEVER undermined her journey to helping God's lonely, lost, and unloved. From this "lost" feeling she quoted: " I have found the paradox that if I love until it hurts, then there is no hurt, but only more love. "

John 3:16[kjv] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
so when we believe in JESUS we have eternal life.JESUS lived a sinless life and gave up his life as a sacrifice so we can be sin free. Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with his blood.
With a simple prayer like above u can be saved.JESUS loves u and wants u to be saved.

God wants to spend time with you, you just have to build a strong bond between you and him. He will surley be happy with you if u speand some time with him. Dont feel so negative k? take care and wish you the best.

You are feeling lost because you have placed your purpose outside yourself. Take back your power over your own life. You are here because you are here. Your purpose for your life must be determined by YOU, it must come from within you, and you must be the center of your purpose. If you place the center of your purpose dependent upon someone or something external from yourself you will always feel lost.

"If there is a sin against life, it consists perhaps not so much in despairing of life as in hoping for another life and in eluding the implacable grandeur of this one."
