something some other people sometimes experience, apparently.

As a child I once said "I am so bored" to my father without skipping a beat he pulled out his wallet and handed me a list of chores and activities... (He had prepared the list several years earlier when my older sister made the same comment)... He then said "Here's a list of things to do, you will never be plagued with boredom again."
I got his message loud and clear, I should chart the course of my life and fill it with things that interest me.. I have never been bored since.. I can always choose to occupy my time with activities or chores or even sit quietly and relax but there is always something to do...
Yup my father was always one for object lessons and lessons that we had to figure out the meaning of on our own... A very frustrating man when growing up but I understand him more now..

I personally think boredom is a phenomenon experienced only by teens...hahahhaa
when you get older, there is too much to do to be bored.
I guess a personal definition would be: devoid of any particular intrest at any particular time.
blessings Uncle Wayne :)

Being on here watching endless mind talk. Watching the power hour with Jimmy Kimmel (or however you spell it) c-span, boredom is just laziness. I know your looking for reading the Bible but I have too much sense to say that.

Routine activity, same process, no challenge, no means to persevere,...
A life without hope, without belief, without prayer, without God,...
That's pure boredom.
