A deist is a person who believes that God designed and created the world and governs it through natural laws that are inherent in everything. These natural laws can be discovered through observation, experience, and reasoning.Deism is a religion based primarily on nature and reasoning, in contrast to other religions that are based on alleged "revelations" that come through some "supernatural" means. Deists believe that human beings have "free will" and have responsibility for choosing how they live in relation to natural laws that govern the world. It is sometimes said that deists believe that God created the world, set it in operation, and then took no further interest in it. But this idea comes from a misunderstanding of an old analogy that compared God to a "watchmaker" and the world to a "watch." This old analogy was only intended to say that from the "intelligent" design of a watch, it is logical to infer the existence of an "intelligent" watchmaker. Likewise, from the "intelligent design" that is seen in the universe, deists infer the existence of an "intelligent" maker, called "God."

A deist is someone who believes that God is an impersonal God who created the universe and then just left if running like a clock that it ticking until it finall runs down and stops. That isn't what the Bible teaches. The Bible says that God knows every hair on our head and that He loves us so much that He sent his one and only Son to make a way for us to be with Him for eternity where everything is a whole lot better than it is now.
"And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away."
And he who was seated on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." Also he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true." And he said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son.
But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death." Revelation 21:3-8

Deism-is a believe in God but you have more the percentage that you are the one who is cre4ating your destiny or fate. You believe there is the presence of God and his authority to human beings.
The suffering or challenge which is given by Divene can only be solved by yourself. You believe that rational is always on your side. and always the key to your success. You can modify your own life without the help of God.
But you are prone to be aetheist, anti-christ, or anti -god.
Time will come you will feel that you are superior with others . For resolving your own probl ems and time will tell you will declasre yourself a God and challenge their power.
It' s like the story of Oedipus the REx, he defied the Gods. And the attitude which reflect is HYBILIS. It means high arrogancy.

idk what a christian deist is but maybe its a person who believes in what a christian does except they dotn go to church or be affiliated with it because they dotn like organized religions. Deism is an unorganized religion. Basically the way of science, but with a god. there are no rules to follow and it says no one knows if there is an afterlife or not

Too lazy to click on link, however the fundamental belief in Deism is that religion and science can go hand in hand and are connected.
