Well, I'm confident that my ancestors weren't apes. I find that rather insulting to my intelligence, but if someone else is happy believing their great.....great grandpa and grandma were apes, good for them. Don't make no difference to me and it doesn't change the truth any.

Nope - in fact, I would discourage this kind of thinking entirely. Hitler and other kooks have mistakenly used the notion of evolution to support racism, and while modern evolution clearly refutes this, this sounds rather like it. Caution, caution, caution.

I doubt it that atheists evolved from apes but that would account for their under developed brains. Perhaps more study needs to be done. Maybe they are the missing link that science has been looking for.
