Terrorists and terrorism can exist anywhere, but not nessarily terror cells. The concept requires a nurturing environment (Islam).

Eliminating the top brass of the IRA cuts the head off the beast, but what did the elimination of Islamist Zaraqawi achieve in Iraq? Islamist activity continued without a hitch.

The reason why terror cells have almost infinite growth and regenerative ability only within the Islamic community is based on the cultural beliefs of the community.

First, Islamic scripture creates a foundation of morality that looks upon murder and killing in a fundamentally different way. Murder has many more moral justifcations in the Islamic community, especially with respect to non-muslims.

Furthermore, the Quranic command to "never speak bad of a fellow Muslim" is more slavishly observed than the infamous hood-code of "never ratting to the cops".

Literalism in Islam is mainstream, that is, almost every Muslim is a fundamentalist believeing in the unquestioned perfection and divinty of the Quran. The Quran is littered with hundreds of textual commandements to murder the unbeliever.

Even among Muslims who are too lazy for Jihad, you still have believers who will support the cause.

Naturally, this protective and supportive behavior, with respect to Islamic terror, is not something english speaking Muslims will openly confess to kafirs (non-muslims) but one this clear...that while terrorists can evolve anywhere, only a culture like Islam can make it possible to have living and regenerating terror cells.

I see you are not familiar with the White Nationalist movement, which is Christian based and has many terror cells throughout the U.S. Remember Oklahoma City? Tim McVeigh was one of them.

There can be terror groups outside of Islam, but on not so vast of a scale. I was involved in the militia movement during the Clintonesta regime, and while many were just patriots concerned about the state of the nation, we had that 10% who were FRUITCAKES, and we had to watch them closely. Tim McVeigh was one example, however it was suggested that he had help from the Islamic terrorist crowd. They never did find John Doe number 2. The Clinton administration was so embarrassed by the event that they buried it deep. So much for conspiracy theories.
The Oklahoma City event did show the differance between Islam and Christianity. Christians were disowning the radical crowd left and right. There was a national outcry from Christians throughout the country to find the culprit no matter who he was. The Klan was even disowning their own radical groups, and by they way, they are more of a political group now. The KKK is a sideshow compared to the arayan nations.
You are completely right about what we are fighting against. Things would be much easier if the Islamic crowd would rat out their own like Christians do, and not hide them in a basement. We are fighting a thousand headed monster. People and the media cant pull the wool over my eyes because I LIVED there. I saw the jerks dancing in the streets when we had 20 dead and 120 wounded in Daharan during desert storm. The lowlifes were in the wreckage ripping patches off the dead and stealing weapons while people were still screaming for help. It took calling in the marines to seal off the area to stop the looting. What a bunch of sickos.
If you are a member of Islam, and are not PRAISING the terrorists, then PROTEST against the beheadings on the internet. The only mass Islamic protests I have seen were when some idiot made a 'bad' cartoon about Islam. Violent psycho-paths killed hundreds world-wide over it, but you never hear a peep out of the Islamic crowd when people are found in Iraq that have been totured. multilated, and beheaded.
But I forgot, it is all an American-Zionist plot against Islam. The CIA is in there torturing and killing Iraqi civilians and our own troops. The Bush administration plotted the WTC attacks to take out the Muslims and take their oil.
Maybe, just maybe, We are trying to HELP Muslims by establishing the first TRUE democratic republic in the middle-east. The whole mid-east is full of Kingdoms and fifedoms. They are SCARED TO DEATH of Iraq standing on its own two feet as a free nation, because it would signify the downfall of every Arab kingdom. Iraq CANNOT win as a democarcy. They will not allow it, and kill tens of thousands of their own to stop it. A free Iraq will rival Saudi Arabia as the richest nation in the mid-east, and then we can tell the Saud family to take a hike, and by our oil from our friends in Iraq.
I challenge the members of Islam who truly ARE peaceful To take a look at their radical elements, and the clergy who SPIT HATE, and at the bare minimum DISOWN them or tunr them in. STOP with the evil American-Jewish conspriacy, and clean up YOUR OWN back yard, our we will clean it for you.
I have nothing but praise and support for President Bush and our troops. The plan worked BRILLIANTLY, and we now have the terrorist cockroaches pouring out from under their dark, dank rocks to kill our troops, who obligingly does the world a favor by sending them to meet AlIah.
I have been shot at and had bombs blown up around me by Arab Psycho-paths half of my adult life. The war in the mid-east is 30 years overdue.
Peaceful Muslims GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF THE SAND. The ostrich syndrome in KILLING your people!!!

You are absolutely right. islam is the threat that created the terrorists. Even the so called moderate Muslims are a threat. Those imams taken off the plane are trying to sue the concerned citizens who reported their behavior. What a way to ruin part of our national security...making people afraid to call for help! Other Muslims suing to get feet washers and prayer rugs. Muslim taxi drivers refusing to take anyone with alcohol or dogs, even seeing eye dogs. They even want to change history...Holocaust never happened. We are slowly allowing this culture to spread and it's going to hurt us even more than it already has.

God Bless.

There are many kinds of terrorists. And not all of them are Islamic.
There are plenty of so-called Christian groups that are also terrorist. Look at the abortion clinic bombings. That is a terrorist act. White Supremacists are also terrorists. Many other fundamentalist groups of any religion can create terrorist cells.
So don't just blame terrorism on Islam, there are terrorists in every section of society for many reasons.

Cells are not unique to terrorists, Muslim or otherwise. Intelligence operatives often work in cells as a way of maintaining security and their cover.

Look at the KKK and how it fractured into independent terror cells after the UKoA was broken.

It can happen ANYTIME there are fanatics willing to kill people over their beliefs.

ever since adam and eve's sin, there's been sin in the world -- EVIL. and there's gonna be evil in the world until Jesus returns. if stereotypical Muslims wertn' causing harm to ppl, someone else would. but i wouldn't go and judge ppl. that's God's job. and there are nice muslims. they arn't all terrorists. but there arn't any Christian bombers.
