I would have to say...its because humans did not create eachother, heaven and earth, nature, etc.
When humans are babies why do they follow their parents around all the time and most kids cry, are shy or have fits if they are left in a foreign place or with a stranger?
Because when their parents are there they have a sense of security. They feel safe and comfortable because they know, trust and love their parent.
God is our Father. We feel comfortable, safe and secure with him. We know and love him.

Well first because it is the truth and the truth will set you free. We had to be created by someone and that someone is God. You cannot get something from nothing.
Also, Humility plays a big part in that we are nothing and God is everything, we can do nothing without him. He created us. It really is such an amazing thing, the chance to be a servant of Christ, there is nothing better than to serve God and one another.

How many humans are "normal?" Every single solitary person on this planet has baggage. Some more than others. I would trust my dogs more with my life than most humans I know.

I want to believe in something bigger than all of us, that can help us, that we can spill our guts to, that loves us unconditionally...traits that no human can possess.
Further, with our finite minds..how can we explain the world without God...even if two rocks collided that caused the world to be created...what made those two rocks....
By faith, I have to believe that God is the alpha and the omega...the beginning and the end...there is nothing more that my finite mind could comprehend.

Humanity is corrupted by sin. Only some one who is free from sin is truly able to offer good advice and sound truth. God is holy set apart from sin, corruption, and time for He is eternal with out a begining and ending. Humanity is frail, perishing and in need of salvation. It seems logical when you have came to these conclusions to seek the Creator. Yahweh is His name and He gave us His Son for our redemption from sin.

The problem is not that we lack self esteem, but that we esteem ourselves too much; this one thing causes much harm and evil. By realizing our position in relationship to God, we depart from evil and lessen its impact on the world.

Is it to much to ask for you question askers to ask a question that makes sense?
I believe in God so he will protect me from the monsters in my closet!
Yet My God ain't the Christian God but She is still stronger than the ghoul in my closet!
