What came first the chicken or the egg?

Ummm... if I have the choice...
For me... a nice chick is always on the first spot :)

Obviously the egg. Since mutations occur over several generations, the creature that laid the egg that became the first modern chicken was obviously not yet genetically a full chicken itself.

The egg.
Whatever the pre-chicken was, it still had a similar reproductive system, so it would lay an egg. Then out came the mutated pre-chicken, known today as a McNugget :)

Obviously because the chicken wouldn't be the first animal on our planet that would mean its species came from evolution. Since that is the case, the chicken obviously came first.

each new generation is an evolutionary step forwards. (a tiny step for you christians who have a hard time understanding anything scientific)
eventually an egg that resembles a chicken we have today was laid. therefore its safe to assuem that theegg was first.
every chicken has a beginning. and chickens tend to lay eggs so the first chicken came froman egg.
