Nahh, YA houdt van ons Nederlanders. Waarschijnlijk zijn het de Vlamingen die onze taal een slechte naam geven...

Lol, I know...in Dutch we actually have 2 different words for both meaning of the word 'screwed'. "Geschroeft" is the carpenter-version of the word. A T-shirt with "I'm geschroeft" would be awesome, because it's just silly nonsense, but every Dutchie would secretly know what it means.

I can't read nor speak dutch but I can tell you that the translators make you sound like a complete retard when actually attempting to use them. Try translating something into a language and then back most of the time the conjugation and sentence structure are all sorts of jacked up.

I love that 'rolling thunder' of a Dutch (or German) end-of-sentence verb pileup.
Unfortunately, in my neck of the woods, we lost the language and kept the Reformed church. The linguistic legacy is a bunch of town names and a weirdly thick 'V' section of the phonebook, but the headquarters of an entire denomination is across the street from the supermarket I grew up going to.

See this is why I decided never to use online translators to try talking to someone in another language. It'd be my luck I'd say something really off the wall.

I answered a question in Dutch the other day using Babelfish, and the Yahoo censors blocked out the Dutch word for "can" (as in "you can understand" - it sounds rude in English).

Edit: dictionary.com's translator helps a little, but not making a whole lot of sense. Still can't understand why Y!A might be prejudiced against the Dutch.
