My brother in law is getting married and wanted to have all neices and nephews in the wedding. They are getting married Catholic and the priest will not let anyone under the age of 7 in the wedding. I think they should be able to have anyone they want in the wedding.......what do you think?

This question is for Christians only..If anyone answer in a negative way, I will openly pray for you (smile)..Jesus said, "a threefold accord can hardly be broken" (threefold meaning you, I and one more person standing together in prayer)..Jesus also said, "If any two shall touch and agree on anything that they shall ask it shall be done of them of the Father which art in heaven" My question is..Do you believe if we stood together within this site to pray and agree for a non-believer or atheist to repent, that God will one day honour our prayer for the person that we are praying for?..Also do you agree that we should not become upset when they say foolish things, but silently or openly pray for them from our hearts? Do you also believe that the LORD may be sending them to this section of "yahoo answers" to receive love, and instruction from us who already know him..love and peace, lady Q aka (ordained minister)

I think I do not so you can get away with things and not get punished but just because life seems so much more complicated to figure it all out in one life. I just wanna know what other people think about the idea.

My question is, why?

What is it that you get out of it? I understand the meeting and congregating with others of your own belief, but why?

You go to Sunday School/Bible Study, Why?

Are you allowed to give you own interpretation of what and how you perceive the teachings?
(I was not allowed to do that, and when I did, I was silenced by others).

What happens when you give your own opinion and your own interpretation of the Holy Bible, when it contradicts that which they are working at teaching you?

Do you just listening to what another person’s interpretation of the Bible is and take that person’s viewpoint and opinion as that is how is it?

Is there anything wrong with doing home study of the material that is supplied, and living our own lives with morals and vales outside of a Church and/or a Specific Sect?

Gloves off people – I really want to know. I myself am a Christian searching for understanding in Organized Religion.

Does it matter? Does it really matter?

"Make it a rule, and pray to God to help you to keep it, never, if possible, to lie down at night without being able to say: "I have made one human being at least a little wiser, or a little happier, or at least a little better this day."

I'm sure alot of you will point to the Bible or Koran or Gita, but what makes you so sure that what's written in these books is true? Sure they say God did this and said that but how do you know its not just old fiction and tall tales? What sets you apart from the ancient Greeks, Egyptians and Aztecs who worshiped Zeus, Ra and Quetzalcoatl? What makes the foundation of your beliefs any stronger than theirs? Haven't you just substitued their gods for Jesus, Allah, and Vishnu?

isn't the burden of proof on the BELIEVER, not the non-believer?

we assume something isn't true until someone can prove that it is. this is the premise behind our court system's "innocent until proven guilty"

non-believers don't have to prove anything (or rather disprove). that's the believer's responsibility.

thoughts?

Some people are scared of the truth about our Jesus and refuse to believe. Because they are scared and don't want it to mess up there sinful lifestlyes. I love shareing Jesus with others! I have nothing to loose. But the ones that are lost and don't believe have every thing to loose. There soul! Satan has so many fooled and blind from the true word of God that its really sad. So many are going to end up in hell forever, If they don't get there hearts right with Jesus. Before they die! That is so sad. satan is so evil he has some people so fooled and he wants all the souls he can get in hell with him before Jesus comes back for the ones that lived and worshiped Him! For he knows that God is more powerful and will win the battle over evil. Heaven is peace, joy, happiness, singing, praiseing Jesus, everlasting life forever and ever!! Hell is pit of fire, pain, sadness, suffering, sickness, death forever and ever, no confort,no love. praying for the lost!!!!!

I have been puzzled by this for 30 years. It seem Obvious to me that Republicans Are Pro Life and democrats are Pro Choice,

Even though as Christians we have to render to the powers that be, Why is it that so many Christians are Democrats?

I can understand not getting involved at all but A house divided against itself cannot stand.

If an atheist or non-believer were to kneel on there knee's and say "Father in the name of Jesus forgive me of all of my sins..Please Lead and guide me to your will for my life" in Jesus name I pray, amen..Would he or she be accepted by God Almighty, if they asked it with a sincere, repented heart..This question is for christians only..If you say something that is extremely negative I will openly pray for you (smile)

Christians are like "Oh you must believe in Jesus to go to heaven, good deeds don;t get you there" Well the bible disagrees...

The sermon on the mount, those on the right of the father will be welcomed into the kingdom and jesus will say why: "i was hunrgy and you fed me...i needed clothes and you clothed me..." those on the left will be denied eternal life with god because "When i was hungry...you did not feed me...i needed clothes and you did not clothe me". Sound familiar...most of you seem to "ignore" it... so to conclude, the bible says good deeds and helping others will get you into heaven.

Yes Jesus says "No man can come by the father but by me" but he also said "forgive them father, for they know NOT what they do" and those who do NOT believe think that Jesus is some made up charecter and so they do NOT know they are actually rejecting the son of god...they will be forgiven for not knowing...jesus said it. God holds us accountable for what we KNOW not for what we dont

In (Acts 10) Peter had his dream that stated that pork is lawful to be consumed.

I mean how can he be sure that he (Peter) wasn't hallucinating?

How could they (Christians) be sure that it wasn't Satan who was trying to deceive him (Peter)?

One of the criteria of the Messiah:

#To do the Torah observance.

In the Torah it was said that pork shouldn't be consumed.

If Jesus told Peter in (Acts 10) that pork is OK to be consumed, this already show's that he did not do the Torah observance.

Thus, this prove that he is not the Messiah!!!
