You cannot deny that there is still a probability that God exists! Why can't you just believe, and be on the safe side? What's it gonna hurt?

I've been running a little survey over the last few weeks. I've been making controversial statements about religion, race, politics and sexual behaviour. And the people on here have stronger feelings about religion than sexuality, stronger feelings about sexuality than race and stronger feelings about race than child abuse. Basically the sexual abuse of a child generates about 17% of the strength of feeling or passion as contradiction to the bible. the people of america are 5 times more likely to stand and defend their faith than stand and defend a child from sexual abuse. They are almost twice as likely to stand and defend their faith as they are to make a stand against racial abuse. hey, somethings wrong somewhere. You guys need to wake up and reassess your priorities. is the bible more important than preventing child molestation, i don't think so and I don't think Jesus would either. Is a black guy less important than a christian? he may be a christian but to you he's black first.

One of the most basic laws in the universe is the Second Law of Thermodynamics. This states that as time goes by, entropy in an environment will increase. Evolution argues differently against a law that is accepted EVERYWHERE BY EVERYONE. Evolution says that we started out simple, and over time became more complex. That just isn't possible: UNLESS there is a giant outside source of energy supplying the Earth with huge amounts of energy. If there were such a source, scientists would certainly know about it.

Its just a theory. All you people have are theories. Why can't you just accept that there is a God?

I would be humored to know how the Christians explain the dinosaurs?

One Christian woman told me that we... "made it up" and that the fossils they found were fabricated.

I know that approximately 2/3 of all Christians believe that the Earth is about 6,000 years old and that evolution is a figment of our imagination.

I kind of feel like Galileo when I bring up these subjects, back when he was shunned and threatened by "the church" for his simple idea that our solar system didn't revolve around the Earth.

It is still hard for me to understand why Christians, and some other religious groups, deny evolution, and make wild claims about the natural world with no real backing besides claiming that it's not what the Bible teaches. The science is science.

Do you think that people with religious blinders on will eventually be weeded out? Even if it takes a few hundred more years?

Only them. Every one else, no matter who they are regardless of age, color, etc will "rot in hell". Including Buddhists, Muslims, Jews, Atheists, Agnostics, and so on.

I personally would rather go to "hell" than be in "heaven" with a god that is so evil. (According to Christianity)

It’s hard to teach American literature without Bible references, pints out one English teacher.[5] Here is how another high school English teacher put it:

“Today we discussed The Old Man and the Sea … when he carries the mast, he falls, he lies spread out on the mast, it’s just like Christ crucified… Most of the class didn’t have any idea … A Tale of Two Cities—one man is sacrificing himself for another, just as Christ sacrificed himself for mankind. Sidney Carton walks through the garden before he decides just as Christ walked through the garden. I tell the students, I’m not any particular religious persuasion at all. I’m not a Christian. You just have to know the Bible.”

Thank you!!

If you argue with an atheist, he or she will say "there is no God," yet cannot prove that there is no God. Why can't they just honestly say "I don't know if there is a God or not, but right now I don't believe there is a God?" I mean, are atheists so stubborn that they don't realize that they can't say something is or is not so without 100% proof? Don't they know that many people who believe in God are just as educated or even more educated than they are? Besides, aren't they just atheists because it makes it much easier for them if they should lie, cheat, steal, etc.?

I'm having second thoughts about this man in my life.We have a long distance relationship he's 25 man . he still lives at home with his parents, works at a fitness gym as a personal trainer(for two years) but never has any money, but he's taken on a job as a drummer for a restaruant to earn extra money, and I notice that he hangs out on myspace all the time(which I don't understand)he's been at a junior college for four years and yet still isn't half way finished to getting his A.A. Degree in music. And I know it's totally up too me and I know that, but I have a Master's degree, and and have goals such as owning my own business, but he talks alot about helping with his parents church, or helping his father build her house, but never about what 'he" wants. And I mentioned moving out of the city to pursue another degree, and he just said oh well I'm staying right here in Compton"!so will it work, and do we balance each other

Allah can't keep his word...Yet somehow we can trust Allah?
God could not prevent men from corrupting his word?
How all powerful is Allah and how can we ever trust him again?
If his word for four thousand years is corrupt we can't count on it then we can never count on his word...fooled me once shame on you...fooled me twice shame on me...If Allah expects his people to trust him he sure messed up. If we can't trust his written word we have to wait to hear him speak. Allah can't be perfect as he has left us no way to trust his word.
