You're right. If everyone was a little more knowledgeable then everyone would be Jewish. But judaism doesn't seek converts in the first place because they know that the righteous of all nations will have their share in the world to come so it's not necessary to convert.

Dear Crystall,

This question is answered in the book of Galatians. The Jews are God's chosen people (Jesus could have been any race- but He chose to be Jewish -- there is no explanation for it). The Old Testament did teach us that God's special purpose for the Jews was to have them share about Him with the entire world, but the Jews failed to do that and in fact they spent much time wandering in the wilderness as a result of that.

God began to save Gentiles (non-Jews) through other means, and some of the Jews thought that they followed God just because they were Jewish and circumsized, and followed certain Jewish traditions. But Paul reminded the believers in Galatia that it's not your ethnicity or background, but it is faith in God that makes you one of God's people (followers).

God does indeed though have a special purpose for the Jews in the end times and i believe after the rapture of the church many Jews will come to faith.

Hope that helps.

Kindly,

Nickster

I am a Jew, and to bring a side point here:
Your question is not 100% true.
The Jewish religion does not believe in forced conversions and on the contrary, we discourage converters (to ensure true intentions), and as such we believe a non-Jew can believe in G-d without actually converting.
Hence, we have the 7 Noachide laws which is for all non-Jews to keep, and if they do, they are considered righteous and get a place in the World to Come - regardless of if they are Jewish.

The Jewish people lost their status as God's chosen people when they impaled his Son. True Christians are God's chosen people now and anyone can be one if they exercise faith in Jesus Christ and do the will of God. God said he would take their position away from them and give it to the people of the nations, and he has.

The Jews are God's chosen people because the Bible says they are. Those who are not Jews are considered as Gentiles, according to the Bible. When Christ came to offer salvation, He offered it to the Jews and the Gentiles. Christ was the long-awaited Jewish Messiah, however the Jews were expecting someone who would lead their people as a nation with an earthly rule - not a Heavenly one, as Christ does. Also, Christ lived a humble life - not quite the almighty warrior-type leader the Jews were expecting.

The reason that those of us who are not Jewish believe in God, is because of Christ. Were it not for the spreading of the gospel, many people in many nations would still be worshipping false idols instead of God. Whether or not someone chooses to believe in Christ as God's Son is another story. Many believe in God, but not His Son. The Jews do not believe in Jesus Christ as God's Son. Many Gentiles do. Those who are Jews either are Jewish because of their natural ancestry which is traced back to Abraham, or they live in the nation of Israel and practice the beliefs of Judaism, or they are neither, but have adopted Judaism as their own religious beliefs and are practicing Jews. The rest of us are not Jews, even if we believe in God. Jews are not the only ones who can believe in God.

As for being God's people, the Jews are God's chosen people, but they reject God's Son. Only God can decide the eternal fate of Jews who do not accept Christ. Christians were not God's chosen people before they accepted Christ, but because Christ came to earth and made a new covenant between mankind and God, those who accept Christ as their Saviour are also God's chosen people. Many non-Christians will disagree with me, but I am merely stating the facts as written in the Bible.

All Catholics are grafted into the Jewish nation, into that core that followed JESUS. It is now a New Covenant, and what still awaits fulfillment for the Jews to fulfill, will be fulfilled under the New Covenant. All the Jews apart from JESUS will be reconnected to that spiritual part of Israel that grew into the Catholic Church.

You arguement is faulty. It does not follow that all believers in God should be Jews just because Jews claim to be God's chosen people.
Anyway, I can see by your thinking that you are not a fan of Jews.
