I don't like bashing in any form - whether the bashing is directed at Christians, gays, blacks, atheists, Muslims or whoever. Bashing just isn't cool and quite frankly, is not mature. Unfortunately, there is far too much bashing of many groups of people on these forums. You just have to learn to say something in a defensively tactful manner if you must say something at all, or just ignore the bashing and move on to a better question.

I'm an atheist, and just because I don't believe in religion, or because I question it, doesn't mean I'm bashing it. I NEVER get angry at Christians for their beliefs, but I cannot count how many hateful thing have been said to me by Christians because of my beliefs. I'm mentioning Christians because I've never had this conversation with Muslims. We are constantly being bombarded with messages about being a Christian Nation (I can't recall ever being referred to as an Islamic Nation) so if you feel Atheists are "bashing" Christians more than Muslims, stop calling us Christians. This is our country too, and we have just as much right as anyone else to express our views about religion.

Just today I have seen Muslim bashing, Gypsy bashing, Black bashing, gay bashing, Liberal and Democrat bashing, White bashing, Canada bashing, me bashing, (it got pulled), ... No Jewish bashing though...

Seems hate is an equal opportunity kinda thing. Pathetic but true. Sometimes it is not the out and out racist attacks but the attitudes and side comments in otherwise intelligent answers.

What I think is really interesting is I have never seen Buddhist bashing ... smile.

It is because Christians have the muslim bashing covered for the Atheists already.

Christians also cover all of the other Theologies, such as JW, LDS, Hindu, etc.

I actually think there should be bashing all around- but particularly in response to the questions. There should also be more humor in this place. Religion is after all a joke. Spirituality on the other hand...

On every forum I have been on, except for Catholic ones, atheists allow Christian bashing by muslims, but lock threads before Christians can give proper answers. Look on most of the Litnets.

muslims kill Christians for teaching Christianity - and there is a hell, which is a fact even muslims and zoroastrians acknowledge.

atheists are ignoramouses. I am not referring to mere agnostics, though, some of whom are great gentlemen. No one shows arrogance like muslims and self professing atheists.

i have no issue with christians as a whole. they have every right to believe what they believe. they do not have a right, however, to tell me what i should and should not believe.
