What happens to people that are mentally incapable of comprehending religion as a whole, such as the uneducated, mentally handicap, third world countries, and the four year old child that stole gum from the store that passed away? If they werent "saved" are they going to hell or can they pass go and collect $200?

If you had to live the rest of your life by three rules you established today, what would those rules be?

What about on 9/11, some of the office workers, let's say they didn't believe in Jesus but in their lives they tried to be good people and be honest, one minute their in their offices, a plane hits and they die horribly, are you telling me they are going to hell for the horrible death suffered for others...they go to hell...for what now...not believing in Jesus? Very "fair" god isn't he. Very "understanding". All christians can do is hide behind the bible... it's clear most of them believe in an unfair monster god. Especially the ones who believe that my story is correct.

i especially like the part where the kid "disproves" evolution by saying that "gluons are a made-up dream. no one has seen or even measured them...they don't exist! It's a desperate theory to explain away truth."

A verse within this is commonly taken out of context. People like to think we are told to fight unbelievers and kill them, and commonly quote just one of these verses. If you look at the entire thing in context, you see it says to fight those who wage war against YOU. Meaning if they started it, well DUH fight back! It goes further to say that if they stop, you stop too. Nowhere does it say to fight just because they are not muslims. Look at the context.

[002:190] In the path of Allah, fight those who wage a war against you. But do not exceed the limit. Indeed, Allah does not like the transgressors.

[002:191] Kill them wherever you find them. Expel them from where they drove you away. Persecution and oppression are worse than killing. Do not do battle with them near the sacred house of worship (Makkah), unless it is they who engage you in battle there. If they fight you there, then slay them (there). That is the due punishment for the disbelievers.

I'm asking for this because tomorrow morning at 7:45 AM I have to take the SATs at a highschool where my siblings went and were hated.

Also, because BEFORE people asked me for help with the SATs, I wasn't nervous, and then they started to ask me for help, so I've been rather jumpy!

Could I get some Good Lucks, please?

so if it is indeed your time to go, there really isn't a way to escape death? and this explains the freak accidents and similar things that happen in life? i'm curious about your personal thoughts regarding pre-determination of life & death.

to me it seems silly to plain doubt the existence of one. we understand too little about what makes our minds tick, about the universe, or anything. we study the brain through MRI's. meanwhile like 90% of the universe is made of matter we can't find, don't understand, or anything.

so overall, in maybe a couple million years if scientists say there is no god, i might ignore my gut and intuition for long enough to listen. until then, i can't help but think there's more to existence than a dead consciousness that becomes nothing more than dust, just like i wouldn't presume my spiritual beliefs are any more true than someone else's. by that i mean... jihad? nonsense.

(& i can't knock agnostics, but i will say it seems kind of arrogant to assume what we know so little of, and what historically so many of found true.)

I thought that christians were supposed to follow the new testament. I thought the old testament of the bible was the portion of the bible that the jews follow.

Anyone who wants to examine the answers to my latest series of questions will see how many times people said "oh, Jesus was telling that man what to do, he didn't tell me personally to do the same."

Checking the Gospels, I see Jesus was -always- talking to someone else. Not once does he talk to -me- personally.

And since Christians feel entitled to ignore instructions from Jesus, it would seem we can all ignore Jesus and still call ourselves good "Christians" who are bound for heaven.

Bottom line: it seems "Christianity" can mean whatever we want it to mean. Even Atheists can call themselves "christian" because, after all, Jesus didn't tell them -personally- to worship God.

Like I said, read the answers to my latest series of questions to see how easy it is for christians to cherry-pick the bible for verses they like, and ignore the rest.

As an atheist/agnostic please atheist stop using the argument "if god existed there would be evidence." This is useless and can be refuted in any debate by a religious person by making this argument:

If the earth was created as a test by god to judge who was good and who was bad why would he let people know he exists.

If everyone was sure of god than everyone would be good.

The essence of determining whether people are morally good or bad is to give them free will and create doubt on whether they will be accountable for their actions.

Would a theif rob the bank if he knew he were 100% for sure going to hell?

The fact is there will never be evidence (unless a judgment day) god does or does not exist. What evolution and the big bang theory do is prove the likelyhood of a god is highly unrealistic and atheism is warranted. But to say the lack of evidence for gods existance proves he does not exist is a lie.
