22Paul then stood up in the meeting of the Areopagus and said: "Men of Athens! I see that in every way you are very religious. 23For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: TO AN UNKNOWN GOD. Now what you worship as something unknown I am going to proclaim to you.
24"The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands.

As several has said; Acts 17:23; For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.
But its not "An" Unknown God! It's "The" Unknown God.
Theres a big differents between "an" unknown God and "the" Unknown God.

Dear Greatseeker,
It is not in Revelation. The passage that you are looking for is in Acts 17:22-24. Paul was waiting for Silas and Timothy to join him in Athens, and he was distressed to see that the city was filled with a great deal of idols. When he was holding a meeting of the Areopagus, he confronted them about their objects of worship and confronted them about the one altar that they had dedicated to what they had considered to be an unknown God, and explained to them that their unknown God, was the God he was going to share to them.

The only place I can think of is when Paul is speaking to the Greeks and mentions to them he saw an altar dedicated to the "unknown God".
P.S. Ah! The person above got it all!

Paul was talking to the Athens in Acts. You know it's funny. He'd get kicked out of almost any church I know for "validating" their religion.
