Anybody who has answered 'A True Gentleman"s last two questions might understand what I mean by this. Does anybody else think that he is out of order for trying to use Yahoo Answers as his own little soapbox for collecting cult followers to his little "religion"

Save the spiritual store in your body by observing Continence.

Complete continence gives great intellectual and spiritual power.

Mahatma Gandhi said " I can confirm without the slightest hestitaion from my own experience as well as that of others that sexual enjoyment is not only not necessary for, but is positively injurios to health. All the strength of body and mind that has taken long to acquire is lost all at once by a single dissipation of the vital energy".

Jesus Said:- " Do not commit adultery, It is much better for you to lose a part of your body tahn to have whole body thrown into hell".

Alright, I don't want to sound rude, but it seems that many who have questions about God really don't want to hear the truth from the Bible. They want to have their ears tickled only to further their own beliefs and opinions. So, I ask you...is there anyone on Yahoo truly seeking?? Or has the name "Christian" left such a bad taste in your mouth that all you have left is disrespect? Or does the fact that there are so many divisions among the church leave one confused as to what is actually true? Has anyone thought to do their own research by picking up the Bible and actually reading it for themselves?

"And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man (JESUS) will be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven." (Luke 12:10)

So...... we can Blashpheme one part of One God but not another part of the One God ?

Obviously God, the son and Holy Ghost are all three seperate entities at ONE AND THE SAME TIME which is a Tri-theistic belief.

If the diety took three separate forms but not all three AT ONE TIME then we might call this diety a TRIUNE God (Three very worthy parts of one god) .

But, how can you blaspheme the Holy Ghost and not blashpheme the son at the same time if they are all ONE ?

How can God know when the end time is coming but the son does not know if they are ONE and the same ?

In other words..... polytheism – Three separate entities that are independent of each other. When you have three gods which intertwine but are sufficiently separate then you have a Trinity comparable to Buddhism and maybe Hinduism.

The truth is that Paul introduced fundamental pagan ideas into Christianity and got away with it.

The original corruption of the texts are not the fault of Christians.... but NOW it is a duty for them to search for the truth. Dont accept the generic "God is too compicated to understand" answer.

Every heart knows that God is one…. No partners, no children, no parents – One and only one.

True love of Jesus is honoring the Abrahamic message which is of MONOTHEISM.

Search for the Prophet he foretold would come after him, and study what that message says.

[64] Chavel 1967, v.I, 200f. The Bible references are Deuteronomy 20:17 and 25:19.

This obligation is commented by Rabbi Chavel:

"This Commandment ... will be better understood in the light of the following passage from the 'Mishneh Torah': 'We are not to engage in war with anyone whatever unless we [first] proclaim peace to him; [this is applicable to both] an optional and an obligatory war; for it is said, When thou drawest nigh a city to fight against it, then proclaim peace unto it (Deut XX, 10). If [the inhabitants] accept the offer of peace... we are not to slay a soul among them, and they merely become tributary, for it is said, [All the people ... therein] shall become tributary unto thee, and shall serve thee'." (Ibid.)

****** OLD TESTAMENT COMMAND BY THE LORD OF ABRHAM : ***********

1) Give them the option of peace (to become believers)
2) If they want to keep their religion, they must pay the Tribute (Head Tax)
3) If they deny the above two options

It was on last night for a coupld of hours and was presented excellently IMO.
One thing it suggested was that the 4 Horses of the Apocalypse has already begun?
Do you think it has?
Apocalypses cast a cosmic drama between angels and demons behind the scenes of such global turmoil. Revelation does this as well. For example, Revelation 12:7-9 describes war breaking out in heaven in which Satan and his armies were defeated by the angels of God

I've wanted to write a Christian teen devotional for a little while, but I know I want to do it soon, for the simple fact that I'm a Christian teen. All these devotionals written for us are written by adults and they just dont understand EXACTLY what we go through. I'm writing chapter by chapter(out of order) each chapter displays an experience I've gone through and I'm sure a lot of teens have gone through. And I feel I have a good perspective on it because I am 15 and a Pastors daughter. Does this sound like a good idea?

Monotheism is the true belief in the God of Abraham which is why Jews and Muslims do not believe in the Trinity.

"The three-in-one/one-in-three mystery of Father, Son and Holy Ghost made tritheism official. The subsequent almost-deification of the Virgin Mary made it quatrotheism . . . Finally, cart-loads of saints raised to quarter-deification turned Christianity into plain old-fashioned polytheism. By the time of the Crusades, it was the most polytheistic religion to ever have existed, with the possible exception of Hinduism.

This untenable contradiction between the assertion of monotheism and the reality of polytheism was dealt with by accusing other religions of the Christian fault.

The Church - Catholic and later Protestant - turned aggressively on the two most clearly monotheistic religions in view - Judaism and Islam - and persecuted them as heathen or pagan.

The external history of Christianity consists largely of accusations that other religions rely on the worship of more than one god and therefore not the true God. These pagans must therefore be converted, conquered and/or killed for their own good in order that they benefit from the singularity of the Holy Trinity, plus appendages." -- The Doubter's Companion (John Ralston Saul)

Polytheism is the concept that God can be three separate entities at one and the same time.
1) Jesus
2) Holy Ghost in the form of a Dove
3) God Above

You can blaspheme the son but not the Ghost
The Father knows the last hour but the son doesn’t.

Is headed on a downward spiral when it comes to the ever changing climate that is verifiably affecting plant life, animal life
and our global economy. As the population grows the food shortages increases, what we have to look forward to is dismal when it comes to our daily exsistence by what is happening with power of nature...

Along with that scenario is the continuance threat of Nuclear War in the Middle East and declining moral values and intolerance of every kind increasing..

For people who believe GOD is in total control we look forward to the day of Jesus's return.

If you don't believe this, how do you see the world getting better? and do you trust your government to tell you the truth regarding every issue that will affect your life?

Thousands of years ago, concepts of myths, for example dragons, Heaven and Hell, were believed in around the world with not many methods of communication or travelling between countries available. Beliefs and images of dragons were quite consistant from China to South Africa and also the concept of Heaven and Hell around the world.

How did people come up with these concepts and was it just coincidence that almost the same myths and ideas were believed in across the world or is there some social or scientific reasoning behind it? (and preferably no religious views seeing as i am an athiest.)

I didn't want to have a HUGE post here - so I'll provide a link to the "Five Fingered Prayer" from another board.

Will your community be participating?
Who will YOU be praying for on Thursday?
Who do you think we should remember to pray for?

Peace dear ones.

I know what I believe - and its not in God or Devil, heaven or hell. I don't need the threat of hell or the promise of a reward in heaven to be the good person that I am with good morals. I give humanity credit for evolving to this point and believe we can evolve further. Where can I find like-minded people?

PS I don't want to hear a bunch of preaching crap - it'll fall on deaf ears and you're just wasting your time.
