As always though, it came from a worldly perspective....trying to strike fear in everyone.
Truth is, I welcome the end.....it only means that Jesus Christ is coming back to get me soon.
Praise God

Yes, I did watch that last night but was disappointed in how the history channel purposely left out some very important details about predicting Bible prophecy and the mistakes made by those who tried to set a date.
The History Channel is notorious about putting everything in a secular point of view, and only using the statements from Tim LaHey and John Haggee as it fits in to what the History Channel wants in, I am sure most of what they said was "edited out" on purpose.
I would not give them much credibility (meaning the History Channel.

There's a list on Wikipedia of every prediction of when the events in Revelations was going to happen. There have been several each century since the year 300AD.

So I guess the part about that referring to the Roman Empire escaped you totally yes? Which was the true HISTORICAL purpose of the whole book, written to uplift Christians immediately after Jesus' death during the alleged persecution of Christians in the Roman Empire? Amazing how some people simply only hear what they want.

no longer probable. i'm nonetheless ticked at Nat Geo for fairly helping 2012 theories. gazing Armageddon week basically ticks me off. it is undesirable adequate that historic previous channel has started making hypothesis, even lies, appear as if technological awareness. yet for Nat Geo to do it? that extremely fairly ticks me off.

No it hasn't. There have been many, many events you could relate to the Apocalypse throughout the millenia.

One thing I did hear is that only God knows when Armageddon will happen so it doesn't matter how much we speculate.
