Then that nothing became a monkey and then the monkey became a human being.. It takes a lot of faith to believe that??
Do atheists have more faith than Christians?

I mean, you have nothing to look forward to, nothing to believe in except science and what you can see, touch. How is it an acceptable answer that you exist because you exist. That is all. There is no purpose in life, except to live until you die. There is no beauty in your reality. You boil down life to what you can explain, because you feel you can control it. Knowledge is power, right?
I mean, I'm a Christian. If in "the end", I'm wrong and there really is no God, then big deal. I lose nothing.
But if I'm right and you're wrong.... you go to hell.
What then?

As if one studied a lifetime only to debunk the Tooth Fairy...I mean, really.

Science can easily disprove fairy tales, but that's not its sole goal, not even one of the main goals of science....

Islam says the Devil only has power to whisper his ideas into the hearts of mankind as a test.

Every human being can either choose to follow the whispering of the devil or the legalism (obediance) to Gods commands.

The Devil tries to negate the importance of following the laws of God in every act we do….. eating, sleeping, waking, working etc.

Rather than submit to the laws of God for every action (legalism) we submit to our own desires and likings which are nothing less than the whispering of the devil in our heart.

Islam rejects the idea that the devil has any real power and certainly does not give him the status of “god of this world” (II Cor. 4:4)

Why do some people glorify the Devil by calling him a god of anything ?

Jesus said he must go so the “comforter” or “praised one” can come who will tell all things which the apostles were not yet ready for.

The comforter would bring a final law and final book that would make all things clear.

He would be a Man not a spirit and everyone was waiting for this Great Prophet from the time of Moses.

The Holy Spirit had already come as a Dove so obviously Jesus was not talking about the Holy Spirit. He was talking about a Messenger who would come after him, one who would explain all the things and telling of more things to come.

Jesus was the “Messiah of the Jews” but he was not the “comforter” or “Prophet like unto Moses”.

That is why they asked John the Baptist whether he was "that Prophet" , whom everyone was waiting for……and he said “no”.

Only until recently, have bible interpretors thought the comforter was the Holy Spirit.

If they accept the idea of the comforter being a human (as everyone else used to) then they would have a very hard time denying Mohammed as a possible fulfillment of this prophecy.

The bible informed us that "The comforter","Last Prophet" or "Law Giver" who would make "all things known" and who "would reprove the world of sin with a new Law" was to come from the "brethren" of the Israelites.

Moses replied : "And the Lord said onto me, they have well spoken that which they have spoken, I will raise them up a Prophet from among ‘their brethren’, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him." (Deuteronomy 18:17-18)

The Bible refers to the Ismaelites (Arabs) as the Brethren of the Israelites (e.g. Gen. 16:12 & Gen. 25:18).
------
This Final Prophet will come as Isaiah predicted ………. From the land of Kedar (Arabia) and from the branch of Jesse (Ishmael)

“And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out his roots. And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge, and of the fear of the Lord.”--- Isaiah 11:1-2

The Quran calls the Angel of Revelation (Angel Gabriel) the Ruhool Qudoos “Holy Spirit” who is sent down to “strengthen” the Prophets.

According to Encyclopedia Biblica, we read: “Jesse is contracted from Ishmael”. (Cheyene , Encyclopedia Biblica under “names”)
-------------
Isaiah tells of the Prophecies of a “Servant of God” who will come from the land of Kedar with a divine Law and he will be victorious over his enemies in battles.

He will bring a new law and message in a new tongue(language) and the villages of Kedar will sing the praises from the mountain tops.....

“Sing unto the Lord a new song , and his praise from the end of the earth…” (V.10)

“another tongue” (Isaiah 28:11)

Let the desert and its towns lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar inhabits; let the inhabitants of Sela sing for joy, let them shout from the tops of the mountains. 12 Let them give glory to the Lord, and declare his praise in the coastlands. --- (Isaiah 42:11).

Ishmael dwelt in the wilderness of “Paran”(Gen.21:21) He beget twelve sons one of whom was named “Kedar”. (Gen.25:13)

------------------
******** The reason Muslims use the bible to prove several points is because it is mentioned in the Quran that Allah sent down glad tidings of the Last Prophet to come in the Torah and Injeel (bible)

HOLY QURAN : 007.157 "Those who follow the messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the Torah and the Injeel (Gospel);- for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him, honour him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him,- it is they who will prosper."

God sent Hagar and Ishmael into the deserts of Arabia when he was a small baby.

Gods plan was to protect the progeny of the first born from all invasions, disasters and
hellenization so that the Last Prophet would come from the land of Ke'dar.

God revealed his name to Abraham and Abraham taught Ishmael who thereafter taught all the Arabs.

The Name "Allah" was known in Arabia even before the coming of Prophet Mohammed.

Allah is the personal name of the Lord of Abraham which has been forgotten by the Israelites.

The MOST famous name for God in the OT is called the Sacred Tetragrammaton –It is YHWH.

Yahweh was changed into Jehovah by Christians -- Mark 12:29

Harpers Bible Dictionary says that the name JEHOVAH was "the result of the translators' ignorance of the Hebrew language and customs" (1985 edition , p. 1036)

Jehovah is a mistaken name of YHWH.

The Book "World Religions From Ancient History to the Present" says : "The name Jehovah is a medieval misreading and does not occur in the Hebrew Bible" (edited by Geoffrey Parrinder, p. 386)

The Interpreters Dictionary of the Bible says the name Jehovah is "an artificial name" (vol. 2, p.817)

Asimovs Guide to the Bible says that the name Jehovah "arose by mistake" (vol 1, p. 135). The author further says : "This mistake has persisted and will probably continue to persist" (p.135)

"When it came to God's name instead of putting the proper vowel signs around it, in most cases they put other vowel signs to remind the reader that he should say "Adonai". From this came the spelling Lehouah, and eventually Jehovah ...(pg. 8 ,Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, 1984)

"The truth is , nobody knows for sure how the name of God was originally pronounced". -(page 7- Watchtower Bible and Tract Soceity, 1984.)

The name Yahweh is derived from the statement God made to Moses in Exodus 3:14. Moses asked God as to what his name was and he got the reply -- "ehyeh esher ehyeh" .

The editors of the NEW JERUSALEM BIBLE explain this as : "The Hebrew can be translated literally 'I am what I am' , which would mean that GOD did not wish to reveal his name to them" (p. 85)

"The truth is , nobody knows for sure how the name of God was pronounced" (Pg. 7 - Watchtower Bible and Tract Society)

Scientists (and everyone else) can't see Gliese 581 C directly, but they detected its presence indirectly by observing its effect on objects near it.

Christians can't see God directly, but we see His presence by observing His effect on our lives. And these are not just works of our imaginations. They are real, observable verifiable effects.

I understand if you are quoting scripture...but, isn't it a bit odd to use King James words when publicly praying, or talking etc...aren't you just drawing attention to yourself...saying, look how smart I am...I talk like they did in the Bible...is this a good witness?

My aunt is not doing to well at all. Hospices has been called in and she pretty much sleeps most of the time. But lately when I have went to visit her she will all of a sudden sit up and point at me while speaking a whole other language. It kinda scares me but I wanna know why this is happening and if there is any reasoning for it.

Christians say they dont need the "laws of God" since they have "Grace" through Jesus.

The Devil will be successful if he can convince people that the laws of God are worthless.
