Every human being can either choose to follow the whispering of the devil or the legalism (obediance) to Gods commands.
The Devil tries to negate the importance of following the laws of God in every act we do….. eating, sleeping, waking, working etc.
Rather than submit to the laws of God for every action (legalism) we submit to our own desires and likings which are nothing less than the whispering of the devil in our heart.
Islam rejects the idea that the devil has any real power and certainly does not give him the status of “god of this world” (II Cor. 4:4)
Why do some people glorify the Devil by calling him a god of anything ?

The devil can have power as much as you allow him to control you.
Maybe Islam is correct this time; if God is your master, you need not fear a devil. However, sometimes I tend to think that some Muslims are disciples of the devil.

"god" meaning he governs the ideologies and practices associated with ungodliness. Satan by Biblical standards use to own the world (not earth, the world of men) as man had given him legal right by sinning, but his ownership ended when Jesus went to Hell and regained man's control.
nowadays, you'll find less demon-possessions. why? because man is corrupt in himself. However, the Bible says a new Christian has more authority than the devil, in both the world and in the spirit, as God is with them.

All the devil is is a fallen angel. We only provide him with power when we sin. When we sin we are going against God, thus making the devil happy.

I have no interest in what Islam has to say as I consider it a false religion.
The bible calls satan the god, little "g" of this present world. Look around you. How anyone could deny that would be a mystery to me.

Islam's believe in the koran. Thats why they think Satan is powerless as you said in 2 Cor. that satan is the god of this world.
