Do a google search for speaking in tongues. There are many prospectives about it in the Bible. I read that it is our soul mum-mering spiritual utterings only God can understand...

there are a few reasons hon. The human brain is an amazing thing. It has so much room in it. And we only use a tiny bit of it. But it has all this extra stuff stored within it. At one point in Auntie's life, she either took a foreign langage, or learned bits and pieces of one. There it sat, all this extra stuff, and it never was used or came out. Now, because she is coming to her crossroads, stuff is starting to surface. Her mind is exuding (not sure if that is the right term) these forgeign words now. It's kind of an electric wave going through her brain, and having her form the words she heard so long ago.
I was once in a coma for 26 days. I spoke fluent spanish for days. Scared the hell out of my people. We are not spanish. But I took the language in school. Never could get any of it. But damn, I talked a blue streak in it then. Some sort of electric short in my brain waves.
Don't worry about what she is trying to say. Know that she loves you. And be satisfied that you are there to comfort her right now when she needs it most. You are a good kid hon. No matter how old you really are, you are a good kid for being there for her. She appreciates it so much. Hold her hand if you can. Tell her you care. And just be there. You will get through this. And you will be fine.

It is the body and mind breaking down plus the drugs. My mom thought I was my uncle when she was near death. She recovered for a while but would have conversations with long dead relatives. These were not real as the dead really have no thoughts and can do nothing according to the Bible. It is just the mind's way of dealing with what is happening.
Your aunt may have learned a foreign language in her younger years or it might be gibberish. If I had to put money on it, I'd pick the first idea.
Don't let it scare you. It is a normal thing. As you get older and experience more older people near death, you get used to it.

Sorry to hear about your aunt. It's possible she's speaking in a genuine language that she may have learned decades ago. When my father was dying and was heavily medicated, he spoke quite a bit of Japanese and Korean that he picked up during his military service.
Have you ever heard people speaking in tongues, also known as glossolalia? This is a minor seizure disorder that causes the phonetic elements of the speaker's language to be rearranged. It sounds like a foreign language, but it's really scrambled English. There is a part of the frontal lobe known as Broca's area, where language elements (roughly, syllables) are sequenced before they are spoken. When a seizure occurs there, the person tries to speak English and "tongue" comes pouring out. Recordings of glossolalia have been carefully rearranged and the English words the speaker originally intended were perfectly reconstructed.
Both my mother, who often spoke in tongues at prayer meetings, and my father-in-law, who was completely non-religious, experienced glossolalia during their final days. A hospice volunteer told me it's actually fairly common among the dying.

Hi,
If my saying this here is wrong, im sorry.
I have had the same experience couple of times. When a dying person starts talking in other languages, it is almost certain they are almost 'there'. It just felt like a sign that they were gone to somewhere else. Soon after this happened, they all left. Im sorry if this hurts. I just want to let u know what i had observed.
I wish so much im wrong. Wish ur aunt get well soon.

Well, it depends on what you want to believe, dear.
However, if it helps, there are documented cases similar to this. They were diagnosed as
Cryptomnesia: buried recollections of words and data that the person has once been exposed to, even as an infant. Frequently in people at the point of death, the buried data often comes to the surface with almost photographic fidelity.
Hope this helps!

If she is speaking in an actual language (Spanish, German, French, etc) that she has never learned she is speaking in tongues. If she is speaking in a language that doesn't exist she is speaking in her prayer language...which is nothing to be afraid of. A prayer language is a language that only the speaker and God can understand...not even the devil will be able to decipher what your aunt is saying...which is awesome. It is a direct prayer to God. Don't be afraid of it, it is something wonderful.

has to do with the mind , when someone is about to die or has a disease that limits or halts thinking then that will make thoughts come out uncontrollably , think of it as a filling cabinet when you learn something when you are younger that information is pushed into the back of you mind or filed away , when you are older and get Alzheimer's for example it stops you from thinking clearly and pushes memory's to the forefront .

My guess is brain damage or hallucinations and incoherency due to the medications she's on. Don't worry Emily Rose was a phony and possessions are fake. She isn't possessed, she's ill. Just like the real 'emily' chick. I can't believe they made a movie like that.
