Okay first people tell me. You need to repent, and believe Jesus to be your lord and savior. You gotta believe he died for us as a sacrfice in our place for all man's sin. Okay good. Then I hear people telling me I gotta be baptisted, and it's in the bible that it's required to enter the kingdom of heaven. Why didn't anyone say that to me earlier. Why do they keep adding rules.

Sorry for complaining, but is there anything else I need to know? I don't want to serve all my life and go to hell just because i'm not baptised. Just saying. I'm new at this. So don't beat me up for this.

When I die, this is what I want.
Straight off to be cremated.
Absolutely no religious stuff at all. None. Nothing.
Ashes in a pot and taken home.
At home, big party, with lots of good food and stiff drinks and singing and dancing and laughing. My ashes on a shelf.
Three of my favourite girls sing - It Was A Very Good Year (Sinatra)
Maybe a few more of my favourites ... TBA.
Thereafter, and I haven't decided yet, my ashes are scattered somewhere appropriate.
Sound about right?

Christian is to be a "Christ like". Jesus never got involved in war, nor politics. George Bush really a Christian? How about those who vote, are you guys a Christian? I did not vote nor interested in Politics. and yes, I am a Christian. I also do not judge.

As an atheist I experience a deep sense of connection and kinship with all things from plants to animals, stars and rocks. That sense includes even people whom I regard as deluded or dangerous (on the grounds we can't help it!) though I may vigorously oppose them. It has grown the more I've learned from science of all kinds. But I wonder in old age - is it different from what religious believers experience?

Has anyone ever came in contact with someone who was pure evil? Who you could see in there eyes and know that there is something so demonic? We have come in contact with one and it was a very unsettling experience. My partner had the shakes and threw up after the encounter. I know that this may sound silly, but I do need someone who has experienced this or has experience in dealing with what has happened. Please no joke posts. I am serious.

I dont want any answers based on any culture, i want an answer based on Islam & only Islam.

If a man loves a women (they have not kissed or done anything unislamic, all they do is talk to eachother) The man fell inlove with the womens good character But they can not get married because his mother wants to choose his wife.

What happens if he marries his mothers choice but he does not love her. The women he loves will not let him disobey or dissapoint his mother, so she chooses to step back.

They both will end up being miserable because they both love each other.

In Islam is it permissable for the man to speak to his mother & tell her that he loves this other girl & he wants to marry her & when he does & she says no he cant.
What do they do? Islamicaly what is the right procedure to
follow or do?

such hypocrites, after all all they are both wrong,my god does not ask me to kill in his name, nor does he expect me to be perfect, also he knows that humans make mistake and is aways forgiving,he does not like the idea of anyone worshipping idols, nor wearing silly clothes which people think that he wants,no huge monolithical buildings ,in fact he prefers a one on one connection,no one on this earth is closer to god than all of us as individuals, and he just expects all of us to try and do the right thing.

"Anyone who is serious about his religion should think that it is the right one. Otherwise, why would he or she be involved in it? Christians are admonished: "Make sure of all things; hold fast to what is fine." (1 Thessalonians 5:21) A person should make sure that his beliefs can be supported by the Scriptures, for there is only one true faith. Ephesians 4:5 confirms this, mentioning "one Lord, one faith, one baptism." Jesus did not agree with the modern, relaxed view that there are many roads, many religions, all leading to salvation. Instead, he said: "Narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it." "

Are you tired of church as usual? I get tired of going to church and not seeing God move like I know HE can and HE wants to. I am tired of man standing in Gods way. God is such a gentleman that HE will never force us to allow Him to have His way in our midst, but that is the way it should be. You know a lot of people on here are right when they say God is not moving like HE did in the Bible. THAT PEOPLE IS OUR FAULT!!!!!! When is the last time you asked God to do something and believed 100% that HE will do it? That is why the apostles saw so many miracles 100% pure faith that God will do it. We should be walking into hospitals and the sick getting up and walking out. The lamb should be leaping at our word. The dead should be coming back to life. These are the things I long for. MY GOD CAN DO THEM AND HE IS GOING TO AGAIN. Am I the only one that wants these things to be a part of our every day life? Am I the only one that is tired of church as usual?

I just moved and left behind a wonderful support system of family and friends. But making new friend in the west is easier said than done. The church we go to is wonderful but people are clannish and only stick to thier families and friends and they hestiate about letting people in thier circle if you will.
The people out here do not get together the way people do in the North East. How do you deal about not fitting in? I

Theres been alot of media about God and who or what created our planet and its beginnings etc... Do you think this whole concept of there being a God and that Jesus was his son and all the rest of it really are true? Science has never proven or disproven those facts...Certainly whatever the real truth is...we def. are not the same creatures today then what was on this earth thousands of years ago. Do you think thats kinda scarey to say the least?

Trials tears and tribualtions we have all had those in life and we contine to have them in life. We live in a culture tht if I has this I would be happy if I got that I would be happy how does one go about rejoicing and being exceedingly glad for trials and what is the best way to mature during the testings? I dont want to wait to be joyful when things are good because life is too precoius and short to waste.

How did man come to be? If you believe god put us here then who put god where he is. If you believe evolution created us then how did that start. How did the first Organism come to be? How did the universe start?
