When I die, this is what I want.
Straight off to be cremated.
Absolutely no religious stuff at all. None. Nothing.
Ashes in a pot and taken home.
At home, big party, with lots of good food and stiff drinks and singing and dancing and laughing. My ashes on a shelf.
Three of my favourite girls sing - It Was A Very Good Year (Sinatra)
Maybe a few more of my favourites ... TBA.
Thereafter, and I haven't decided yet, my ashes are scattered somewhere appropriate.
Sound about right?

Should my family carry out my wishes at the right time, I am happier NOW knowing that.
They can enjoy the occasion, knowing that they are doing it the way that I wanted it. They will feel good.
and, yes, no praying, no crying, no sadness.
Re environmentally unsound - my burn-up will be nothing compared to the forest/bush fires or even just one international air flight ...
