Okay first people tell me. You need to repent, and believe Jesus to be your lord and savior. You gotta believe he died for us as a sacrfice in our place for all man's sin. Okay good. Then I hear people telling me I gotta be baptisted, and it's in the bible that it's required to enter the kingdom of heaven. Why didn't anyone say that to me earlier. Why do they keep adding rules.

Sorry for complaining, but is there anything else I need to know? I don't want to serve all my life and go to hell just because i'm not baptised. Just saying. I'm new at this. So don't beat me up for this.

When a person repents and ask Jesus to be there Lord and savior. The holy spirit comes to that person at that moment and seals them into the Kingdom by placing the spirit of Christ in that Person. This is the first infilling. In effect you are baptized into Christ. Thus it is writen you have become a new creature in Christ Jesus.
When you have come into a loving relationship toward the Father and are seeking to live holy unto God. If you will ask the Lord Jesus Christ for the Holy Spirit. Jesus will ask the father and the Father will send you the Holy Spirit. This is the second infilling.
The Holy spirit walks besides us when we first get saved but as we mature he desires to indwells.
The baptisem of the Lord Jesus Christ and the baptisem of the Holy Spirit spoke of in the 4 gosples in detail. Also there is the fire of God which is the annointing of God.
In the four gosples we find it writen he shall baptise us with the fire, water and spirit. The water is the spirit of Christ ( the redeeming waters) the Spirit is the Holy Spirit, The fire is the annointing. The water baptisem is only a symbol to the church body but also at this service often God will baptise you with one of the spiritual baptisems. So take the plung an you might recieve a ouch from the Lord.

It's true, there is more than just believing. Many believe, even the devil. But it is still very simple. All it is is, receive the Holy Ghost and be Baptised in the name of Jesus. What that means is, not just believing, but to RECEIVE, actually allow the Holy Ghost to live inside of you. I wouldn't say you would go to hell if you didn't do this, because that's not for me to say. But I do know for a fact that if you want to go the biblical route, you must 1. believe on the Lord Jesus Christ 2. Receive the Holy Ghost and 3. Be baptised in the name of Jesus. Then, you're good to go! No beating you up about it, all Christians are new at some point, but, it's really so much more simple than we make it out to be.

No you do not have to be baptized to go to heaven. That is a Catholic doctrine. But you do have to believe, and repent as you stated above. Baptism is an outward sign of an inward change. It wont keep you out of heaven. Being born again means your saved.
Your not complaining, or at least I didn't take it as a complaint.
Study your Bible, and go on Christian websites and explore them.

no one is adding rules. If you didn't know it's because you didn't listen or read your bible. Baptizing is a fresh start and proclamation to the people showing that you believe in God and want to walk in his path. To enter the kingdom of God you need to be born again but through the holy spirit and this is the way. Research more about online or church, there is to much to explain. Plus you have to be ready not just because your suppose to get baptize but because you feel in your heart. It's suppose to be a day you never forget and you shouldn't feel pressured, but dont let it pass up.

Don't even think about Baptism ( by water) until you understand it. The kingdom is reached because God counts you as one of His when you decide to trust Him. That's the point of the whole thing, you accept His Son, He will accept you as His Son as well, by adoption as it says in Romans 8. The point to clarify it a little bit better, you trust Him, and He brings you a spiritual life. You continue trusting God, and He continues to provide you with His life. On and on it goes.

Water baptism is a ceremony, a ritual. But don't sweat it until you understand it. All things that we do are nothing unless we trust God. When you don't understand something, don't do it, and 'weigh it on the Spirit' of God. God already knows what you are feeling. He doesn't force you to do anything.

Cool?

#1) dont listen to people like the idiot above me or below me. He just says that so he can keep on sinning with no repentance. Lives for the flesh. Wants you to join in hell. Why would he NOT want you to believe? ALL EGO.

#2) everything you need to know is in John 3. Read it.

You must be born again, by water (baptism) and by spirit (repentance, spiritual awakening, realization of G-d)

The second part, born by spirit is tough. For me it just happened.

3) Pray 4 it to happen. Seek and you shall find. Keep praying and seeking. Bless you.

Think about this:

"I believe in some marvelous way," Martin Luther King wrote, "God worked through Gandhi, and the spirit of Jesus Christ saturated his life. It is ironic, yet inescapably true that the greatest Christian of the modern world was a man who never embraced Christianity."

Dear friend.Ä° see you need to learn a lot of things.First Jesus
is not a God or son.He is a human like we are but God sent
Him to humans with a task and a rank(prophet)and with a book(Bible but not this Bible Christians are reading now)God sent many prophets before Jesus also. What they have been
ordered from God they explained to their community and noone said God is trinity and has a son. They insisted only that God is one and has no partners.Only creator is God prophets are only messengers. And prophet Jesus is not death on cross that was Judas. How come created people are able to kill their creator can you think about this?
After liers said:Jesus is death for our sins. But that man on cross was crying:My God my God why did you leave me?

Baptismal regeneration is the belief that a person must be baptized in order to be saved. It is our contention that baptism is an important step of obedience for a Christian, but we adamantly reject baptism as being required for salvation. We strongly believe that each and every Christian should be water baptized by immersion. Baptism illustrates a believer’s identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. Romans 6:3-4 declares, “Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” The action of being immersed in the water illustrates being buried with Christ. The action of coming out of the water pictures Christ’s resurrection.

Anything in addition to faith in Jesus Christ as being required for salvation is a works-based salvation. To add ANYTHING to the Gospel is to say that Jesus' death on the cross was not sufficient to purchase our salvation. To say that we must be baptized in order to be saved is to say that we must add our own good works and obedience to Christ's death in order to make it sufficient for salvation. Jesus' death alone paid for our sins (Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21). Jesus' payment for our sins is appropriated to our "account" by faith alone (John 3:16; Acts 16:31; Ephesians 2:8-9). Therefore, baptism is an important step of obedience after salvation, but cannot be a requirement for salvation
If baptism is necessary for salvation, why would Paul have said, "I am thankful that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius" (1 Corinthians 1:14)? Why would he have said, "For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel - not with words of human wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power" (1 Corinthians 1:17)? Granted, in this passage Paul is arguing against the divisions that plagued the Corinthian church. However, how could Paul possibly say, “I am thankful that I did not baptize…” or “For Christ did not send me to baptize…” if baptism were necessary for salvation? If baptism is necessary for salvation, Paul would literally be saying, “I am thankful that you were not saved…” and “For Christ did not send me to save…” That would be an unbelievably ridiculous statement for Paul to make. Further, when Paul gives a detailed outline of what he considers the Gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-8), why does he neglect to mention baptism? If baptism is a requirement for salvation, how could any presentation of the Gospel lack a mentioning of baptism?
