If I kill hundreds of dozens of inocent people and destroyed tens of cities and treated everybody around me rudely..
And I keep do all this without any regret but I still believe in Jesus. Is this belief enough for me to go to Heven?

i am not christian but it is really funny the way the above things work. could some experts explain them?

how and why the priest is given the authority to give forgiveness ? i believe they are not special being, they just learn bible - and could this make the superhuman?

is possible in future we just email the priest for forgiveness ..?? or using online media ..??

I am in a housing crisis, after my home burnt down last year prior to last Easter,(and I was homeless Easter of last year)
So I am going for a prority housing interview today (West Aus)
I really want to be somewhere nice like here, but where I can afford it!
I could afford it here because I a boarder, but some nice person dobbed me in and the owners only allow myself here! And it's a 3 bedroom home?
I have a notice of eviction because for the last 7 weeks since my boarder had to leave, I have been trying to make ends meet, but at $360 rent a fortnight, my disability pension (back injury) doesn't go too far!

I do believe in everything the bible says ...... and i have had studies. I do understand why it is not gods wishes for us to celebrate christmas, easter etc but i dont understand the whole birthday thing.... what was jacobs special day that he celebrated with a feast????????????

I've been having an argument with one of my friends over Benny Hinn, he says that hes a false prophet and is not legit. However, i believe that Benny Hinn is a very powerful priest and God works through him in mysterious ways. There's a lot of accusations and bad mouthing of Benny Hinn going on from Christians which amazes me because if his own people dont support him how will other nations? But still, God has kept him going through all of this, he has made him strong.

My question to you is, do u believe that he is legit? why or why not?

and if you answer is yes, could you please provide some good feedback and support! Thank you!

Hi. I read for like a hundred times in Revelations that only those whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life which was written before there was ever a foundation of the world...are the ones who will be saved or are predestined ones, called most likely in Bible terms as the ELECTS.

Over and over...only the true sheep or whom He has called is His own and He Shepherds them and gives them His Spirit to dwell in their hearts.

I was thinking there must be a lot of the called ones or the Elect ones and then the one who will endure to the end will truly be saved.

So my argument is that....it still falls to the category where their names were still written in the Book and that He can blot the other names out....

Now what confuses me is the phrase..."Many are called but a few chosen" to eternal life,SO then the phrase applies exclusively to ELECTS? Who will ever know the wisdom of God, but what I am saying is..Salvation is open to all mankind, but everything is foreordained?

how does one interpret sacred text? you can find many different perspectives on answering it. None would be wrong, however the difficulty is maintaining an objective view without becoming personal, and yet when discussing religion, where do you draw that line.
