yes I do believe he is legit.....I have been to his crusades and the anointing of the Holy Spirit was so strong and many came up out of beds that their bodies were twisted and I watched these people for hours before the service started there is no way one can hold that kind of position for that long.....remember even Jesus was not recognized among his ouw peers......Benny Hinn will keep on doing what God wills as long as He stays faithful......

Benny Hinn is a charlatan of the worst kind. I will give you a clue as to why. Then next time you see that he is coming to do a crusade near you ...go several hours early and walk around the place where his show is gonna be held. Sometimes you have to go to the back. There you will see able bodied people unloading their wheel chairs and crutches. Pay attention you will be seeing them get "healed" later.
Another way is to find out how much it cost to be "healed". Just try to get up next to him. Ask yourself ...did Jesus do it this way?
Jesus did not even own the donkey he rode into Jerusalem the day before Passover and his crucifixion. Benny wants a private jet. If Jesus lived without a mule as transportation do you really think Hinn needs a BIG private jet to spread the gospel??
Your on-line ..if you really want to know the truth about guys like him READ!!! Try to disprove what a lot of his ex-followers say. Judge his actions not his words by what is said in your bible and the way Paul, Peter, Jesus, or anyone of the New Testament personages would have done what Benny is doing? If you really care you will find the truth.

I do believe in and have experienced the miraculous. I also believe in the perpetuity of the spiritual gifts. I have some real problems with Benny Hinn, however. He has espoused some very questionable teachings and has been caught in some lies and some extravagant misuse of ministry funds. He has yet to provide skeptical inquirers with a convincing, medically documented healing from his ministry even though he has repeatedly said that he would. The links below will help you to see why some people who agree that God can and does heal the sick dislike some significant aspects of Hinn's ministry. I think in the long run he does more harm to the cause of Christ by making Christians that support him appear gullible and by giving ministers a bad name. The crowds come and go from his crusades but the damage done from his false teachings and poor reputation continue to hurt the cause of Christ.

This Benny Hinn guy must have done something to make his name known. I say he's a prophet.
Since it is what Christians refer to as end of days, there's this verse in the bible that says "In the end of days, young men will become visionarys, [something about prophets], and the old will dream dreams."
Since prophetic visions are a 100% real experience, this Benny Hinn guy might be a prophet for a specific Christian community.

I read Benny Hinns books when they first came out, and I've followed his story ever since...He has been unable to provide proof of his healings to CRI (Christian Research Institute) and has publicly apologized for misleading people...But, returned to the same style of ministry afterward.....I believe he started out legitamately but, has faltered since.....Beware of faith healers/teachers, there is something inherently wrong with "experiential Christianity"....Meaning that : experiences aren't the best determining factor in choosing a Bible teacher, much less, a leader.....Christ said that in the last days : they will say "Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders..." Matt 24:23-24 I'm not saying God doesn't still perform miracles, I'm just saying something's fishy when some certain ministry seems to have a monopoly on them.....Pray for discernment..

I'm not the judge of what goes on in Benny Hinn's heart. As the Apostle Paul wrote:
1 Corinthians 4:5 Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God.
But I will say this about Benny's ministry. Many reputable Christians have taken great pains to expose Benny as a fraud. They've put together whole web sites with links to recordings of what Benny has said to back up their claims. If you put the words "Benny Hinn false" in a search you will come up with page after page of sites where Benny's ministry is castigated for being a wolf in sheep's clothing. Even secular news stations have caught Benny manipulating crowds and performing fraudulent "miracles".
If you really want to know about Benny then just go to google or yahoo search and put those 3 words I gave you into a search and you be the judge of what's true or not. Here's what the first page on a google search looks like.

I believe God is working through Benny Hinn. The man himself to me seems like he is full of his own importance, and focuses too much on getting people to donate money. But you don't have to be perfect to spread Gods word. Best Wishes.

ok, i think that God can work miracles through many people, but sometimes it may seem like God is working through people, but it might really be the devil. i personally don't like Benny Hinn, but that does not matter. you need to talk directly to God and see what He tells you , because what he is going to tell you is way more important than what anyone else has to say. pray about it.

What I want to say about Benny Hinn is this: what I think of him doesn't matter in the least. What God thinks of him does matter. He will be judged by God, not by me.
Personally, I don't like watching him. So I don't.

I really don't know. Jesus said you will know them by their fruit. Does Benny glorify God or himself?
I have seen the bad reports about Benny and it made me wonder about him. But I will not pass judgment on him because that is God's place to do so. If he is a brother in the Lord. we should pray for him. If not, God will bring that out in the time of His choosing.
I have a friend who says Benny was used to heal his daughter of cancer. I seen his daughter and she has indeed been healed because there was a time when she could not walk and now she can run and play. But Benny did not heal her, God did it.
I do not know Benny that well... but Jesus did say that he that is not against us is for us. So I would just pray for him and hope for the best.
