lol, they choose it themselves, however I do think that it is cruel to make them never have sex!

I am not Catholic, but I'm pretty sure that becoming a nun and wearing the habit is voluntary. I have seen many nuns who no longer wear "the uniform". But you can still tell them by their sensible shoes. Surely you don't find the shoes degrading?

Nuns choose to become nuns. Today they can also choose to become one that wears modern dress or they can choose to become on that wear the old traditional habit.

First off, not all nuns wear habits. There are many who do not. Secondly, nobody's forcing them into orders that do wear habits. It's their own choice.

That would be Roman Catholics. Protestants do not practice that. And ask the women that wear them. I think that you'll find that they want to do what it is they are doing.

You can't seriously think that all nuns do not want thier lifestyle.

That's Catholics, which are not Christians (contrary to popular belif).

They do it because they don't want people's opinions of them to be tainted by their looks, but rather based entirely on their beliefs and personalities. Actually, it was started by a woman who by modern standards would be considered a femenist.
