It seems to me that this contradicts God's law that murderers should have capital punishment imposed upon them.

I am in favor of capital punishment on biblical grounds, but this exception seems to fly in the face of God's justice.

I mean it's based on the LUNAR calendar. It doesn't get much more pagan that that now does it?
And christians STILL think they invented the holiday. Hilarious!

To what purpose did Jehovah create the Tyrannosaurus Rex? What benefit to man? And if everything god created was perfect, why did they become extinct without the aid of man?

from the time we were born im sure all of us have gone through painful issues in our lifetime whether physically or emotionally from happy, angry, sad, disgusted, frightened, disappointed and etc.god loves us,yet he allows the world to be so currupted and then i hear its only going to get worse great. as if we havent gone through enough suffering as it is.we can go to all the church sermons we want, pray all we want, read the bible all we want, yet we still have to deal with the world until were dead. some say we were born put here for a purpose.a purpose for what to put up with harshness, rudeness, indecentness, disrespect, deceit, betrayal, let downs, heart ache, pain and torture.god allows this from people.some god i thought he loved everyone, well if he did the world would be like heaven is suppose to be and god could make the world pleasant instead of unpleasant if he wanted to.dont you wish he would?he can control people better than another person would.he needs to step up and bring much harmony.

As a former Christian, I never bought into the literal interpretation of Genesis and never engaged in Pascal's Wager. It seems that parroting empty statements is a popular evangelical tool these days.

Pascals' Wager: It's a false argument. To err on the side of fear or caution is still to err.

It's just a Theory: Developed around common misuse of the term. The group who coined the term are aware of the difference in usage, and they are aware that you are not. You are being played, and I can't imagine that these people don't have a certain amount of contempt for you.

Noah's Ark has been found: No it hasn't, but the guy who produced that phony documentary made plenty of money from plenty of suckers.

Carbon Dating is false: If it were, how would you know? And no it is not false, but it cannot be used on some non-organic Archaeological finds or living organisms. It measures decay, and living organisms have not begun to decay.

And Last Thursdayism: The universe only APPEARS old. LOL.

I'm looking for scriptural evidence from the bible that states that God is all-knowing and all-powerful. I've found some vague statements that might be interpreted as such, but does the Bible explicitly say this? Please include book, chapter and verse.

In recent years there has been a major push by various groups to remove public displays of religion, whether it be Christmas wreaths or statues of Ganesh. These groups claim that it is offensive to display them in public. I'm curious: are you offended by such displays? In what context are they offensive (for example, is it okay for someone to put up an Menorah in their front window, but not in a schoolroom?)?

Thank you for your time.
