Why is my church always begging for money. Why don't they get it from the vatican and invest in stocks?

If your church is having to beg for money, then the congregation isn't cheerfully doing their part. What is so hard about realizing that the church needs to be supported financially. They have to pay rent/mortgage payments, just like everyone else. The Pastor has to eat, so on and so forth. These people minister to your soul, yet you would have them live in poverty? I personally would feel ungrateful if I thought that way. I don't believe in being forced to pay the church. But, if you love and believe in your church, then why not help pay the bills? Peace.

Because, the church has expenses it needs to pay. The building, heat, eletricity etc.. They also need the money to help others in need. The church isn't a business and shouldn't be so it can't invest in the stock market and thus can only be supported by its patrons.

If every member of the church paid their tithes and offering then surely the church would not have to beg. Are you doing your fair share?

Find out what they do with it , There should be a statement for every one to see where the money is going . Ask to see it . If not something is fishy .
